Check your knock sensor for cracks. Could be that the knock sensor is reading false knock at WOT and causing the timing to retard severly.

My thoughts exactly. We also have another Mustang on 24's that has a pink and purple alligator skin textured paint job on it. Also hideous.

Wish I still had pictures of the pink Mustang in town with a giant Pepto Bismol bottle sticker stuck to the side of the car and "Nausea, Heartburn, Indigestion, Upset Stomach, Diarrhea" plastered on the back window.

The filtered oil goes into the threaded part the filter sits on... Im pretty sure its unfiltered Its not a 98... because of the last cam bearing being oiled.. can anyone tell if its an s13 or s14? Not like it matters If i do any major engine work, i disconnect my turbo feed line and let it run into...

This is how I pulled my motor/trans. I'd do the same putting it back in.

I'd just pick up a cat back exhaust for now. If you're planning on going turbo in the future there's no reason to invest in a header, the performance gain wouldn't justify the cost.

350-400whp if you're willing to build the motor. I know it's a different car, but my wife's Speed3 at ~275whp/~290wtq is a blast to drive for a FWD 4 door. It could use a little more power though.

Not worth the time. If you're going to spend the money and time to rebuild the engine you might as well save your pennies for a few extra weeks and go forged.

And it IS a truck motor , with a sporty head. Please define "truck motor". The KA was put into cars at the same time it was being put in trucks. It's not like they were only in trucks, and then all of a sudden someone decided to start throwing it in the 240. ' You're right but I wanted to...

I understand what you're saying. It makes perfect sense, I don't really think there's a right or wrong position on the topic. The fact of the matter is, old cars generally are cheaper and easier to come by. I would see it more profitable to make parts for them because there's simply more of them. I ...
