The bolts on the flange all either broke or fell off.. i have no idea what size they are or where to get them. If anyone can give me any idea what size they are id really appreciate it. I'm also having ...

A couple small problems
I've got a couple issues with my car lately. I've actually always had these issues, but i've decided to take actions to tackle them recently. - First issue, and the most annoying one by far is my wire harness. Under the hood on the passenger side, i have a bunch of random connectors not plugged to a...

I want to see the installation manual. And take it apart. What a joke looks like a iat inline resistor, to give the ecu false iat temps, may work on a ecu that actually uses iat to correct timing/ fuel, but our ecus DONT use the iat for anything other than emmisions,. beats my guess... I thought it...

Well when i saw it, it was at night. Its not my crank pulley. It's the AC idler pulley i believe. And my motor mount is pretty much all but gone. It's not even supporting the weight of the motor anymore. But i can see how what i said was misunderstanding. Sorry about that.. I was talking about my ol...

if you are using hockey puck motor mounts then that is causing the pulley and sway bar to come into contact. After a while the hockey pucks soften either from the oil or water and in turn the motor gets lower. If your oil pan hangs lower than your sway bar then you need to swap your mounts *I used ...

Crank pulley scraping sway bar!?!?
Lately i've been driving around and ive been hearing a metal-metal scraping noise. Wasnt sure what it was for a while, and the engine still seemed very strong so i quickly concluded it wasn't internal. So i opened the hood and revved the motor a few times and saw tiny little sparks coming off my cra...

i dont know where to find shocks cheap though. Im not looking to spend $400. Id rather just save for coilovers in that case... I've been considering coilovers but they're a pretty bick kick in the balls too... I loved my coilovers on my old car, but here in South Carolina, id never be able to lower ...

93 S13 with Tien S-Techs and stock dampers (bought it that way) My car is GREAT around town and corners very well, but on the highway not so much. I have no problems on smooth roads, but as soon as the road gets a little bumper over 55 mph, the rear end feels very unstable and flloaty up to speed. I...

I've been researching the possibility of getting some type of forced induction for my x5. It actually wouldn't be too hard of a project if i could get around to some practice in welding. There's actually a few nice spots under the hood for a snail. But anyways, my truck actually has a GM transmissio...

Personally, i think thats the only reason i havent turboed my KA yet.. I wanna go turbo VH or turbo LS . That, and im in school...No time lol.. But I think a turbo LSx in a S-chassis would be insane (in a good way). Whatever you do, be sure and keep us updated. The LSx is going to be considerably mo...

It's just that, take for example, my 240. I run megasquirt. I dont have a mass air so my fuel and timing rely in the MAP and IAT sensors. I know if the IAT gets wet it becomes more sensitive to the air charge. It would read cooler than the actual air charge. But at the same time, if the IAT never re...

Sounds like you're blowing out your spark.. On my old sr20 setup, i had a bad coil and my engine would shutter really bad over ~8-10 psi. Kinda felt like the motor was dead. I'd recommend you check all your plugs..If they check out ok, then check the wires, dizzy, and coil. Make sure there's no corr...

I think you want the nozzle closer for the exact opposit reason... further away is going to allow for condensation. All the setups and install instructions I've seen have shown the injection system at the throttle body elbow or on the cold pipe spraying right at the throttle plate. Same idea as hav...

My friend has a meth injection setup in is wrx. Internal pump, 4 gallon tank mounted in trunk. Two nozzles just after the fmic. I wouldn't recommend placing the nozzles just before the trottle plate. The further away the nozzles are, the more time the droplets will have to atomize and evenly distrib...

With full bolt-ons, a 240sx might keep up with an si...but stock, the 240 is just slow.. My 4.0 Jeep Cherokee felt faster than my 240 stock for stock... The x5, as big of a heavy a** tank as it is, it's probably about as fast, and definitely has more top end. There is no denying the fact that a 240s...
