Re: Nistune now supports OBD2 ecu's
Sorry to bring this thread back up, but has anyone here had success with running the Nistune OBD2 stuff and legitimately passing OBD2 emissions? It seems very possible if you have stock sensors in place. Along the same lines, I've removed and blocked my EGR setup, but if anyone can chime in about th...

i also used the oem fuel line with my pump. I'm not worried about it deteriorating. this thread is concerning the bit of fuel line that comes WITH the walbro kit, not the stock line. had i kept my stock line, i probably would not be having this issue. i simply assumed that the line that came with t...

i have a greddy bov, and there is an oring that the actual valve seals with. it could be the same on the hks. also, there are probably some orings on the piston type assembly above the valve http://www.motoiq.com/magazine_articles/articletype/articleview/articleid/1822/pageid/2650/we-test-synapse-en...

just looks like your run of the mill ebay type brand. some people run them with no problems. personally, i have some megan RUCAs on my s14 and have had no problems with them. The big issue is the few ebay suspension parts that crack end up failing. Not super common, but common enough to turn a lot o...

I know there are 2 different TP sensors for auto and manual, maybe that is the cause? Could be. There are two plugs on an auto TPS. One is for the trans, one is for the signal to the ecu. They are interchangable, if I remember correctly. Or, its a bad TPS. as far as this is concerned, my car starte...

Ethanol? 91 octane gasoline, not ethanol. Did the gas contain any Ethanol? A lot of gas pumps here in FL use 10% or less Ethanol with regular gas. hmmm. not sure to be honest. would it matter all that much as far as this is concerned? my understanding from the previous responses here is that proper...

If you are planning to do an engine rebuild, it is highly recommended that you ONLY use OEM nissan parts (timing chain kit, etc.). Many people on this forum make between 300-350hp very reliably on stock internals, but there is always the 'better safe than sorry' approach of buying better rods and pi...

ATTN: Walbro Fuel Pump Users
So I pulled my fuel pump today because I was having some strange symptoms. Ever since I put the pump in, I would run out of gas around when the gauge read 1/4 full. That didn't bother me too much, but I have also been having strange idle problems from time to time. They have been getting worse. Anyw...

Oange/yeallow is the PCV hose . That hooks to manifold vaccum. To the 4-in-1 runners I presume? +1 if the orange one leads to a black box full of crap. plenty of long winded discussion about what to do with this one when ka-t, hook it up to catch can and pre-turbo, or leave it to atmosphere/catch c...
