Most of the time I was missing spark and fuel, I found it was a grounding issue. With the distributor out of the engine, but still connected to the harness, turn the key to run position. So i took the Whole Intake Side apart. Nothing seemed to be wrong. I did noticed that the Hose for the PCV had a crack in it... it may be the problem . Probably was. If you can get a buddy to hold the gas pedal where it will maintain idle, spray some carb/throttle body cleaner around where you hear the hissing. If everything else is running fine, you can just adjust the target AFR in the fuel map to account for the difference. Are you sure its not running on the knock map??? That sounds good.
