Re: KA24DE 5 Speed Auto ECU = No Injects or Spark

Most of the time I was missing spark and fuel, I found it was a grounding issue. With the distributor out of the engine, but still connected to the harness, turn the key to run position. Spin the distributor by hand. You should hear some clicking and fuel pump coming on and stuff - things should be...

Follow my advice and get some carb cleaner to spray around the manifold. If you have an air compressor you can always do a "boost leak test" and spray soapy water around in potential problem areas. However, the soapy water may not be necessary if the leak is big enough, you'll hear the ai...

So i took the Whole Intake Side apart. Nothing seemed to be wrong. I did noticed that the Hose for the PCV had a crack in it... it may be the problem . Probably was. But by the end of tonight, I should be able to replace it and have it drive able... hopefully. If that's not the reason, What else cou...

If you can get a buddy to hold the gas pedal where it will maintain idle, spray some carb/throttle body cleaner around where you hear the hissing. If it revs up while spraying at a certain location, then you can get a better idea where your leak may be. The first thing I had blow after turboing was...

I can hear the "hissing" noise in your video, you blew a hose off or a gasket. I would check all vacuum lines, but it almost sounds line either the EGR plate or the IAC valve gasket.. Well i checked the EGR Plate and the IACV and it's still having a hissing noise. I took a tube and stuck ...

Dude i think you're 100%... I've done some research and i found out that The IACV sometimes leaks boost. It also 100% related to Idle Problems. i'll check into it early in the morning and see if i can fix it.

I checked the vacuum and ... actually not really sure where to start. But when i try to start the car, it sounds like a "Punctured Gas tank" Or a "Hot almost-Boiling - Water"

Does anyone know where i should look first?

If everything else is running fine, you can just adjust the target AFR in the fuel map to account for the difference. Are you sure its not running on the knock map??? That sounds good. But now i'm getting this crazy read out. Earlier it was amazing at 14.7 and now when i try to adjust the K-Constan...

For a person who doesn't know how to work on motors, you statement is invalid. Pure ignorance if you ask me. Just because you are unfamiliar with motors and had a bad experience, does not mean you can bash it. If you had a 2j and blew it up, I bet you would say the same thing. i want a 2jz >_<

Lookin good. What kind of power are you looking to get out of it? Also what point in the RPM band does that turbo begin to build a good amount of boost? I'm still trying to decide which turbo I'd like to run. Boost starts at 2800 i believe. here's a video of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CopaE...
