Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
So to update I removed the tranny and saw nothing obvious wrong. I drilled and added 2 alignment dowels to my adapter plate. I left the dust plate on. I drilled 5 holes the size of a quarter all around the bellhousing while leaving the starter plate cover off. So there shouldn't be heat build up. It...

wish we had more high power ka-t's in Houston. People still can't believe that my ka makes 700hp lol. They think all ka-t's blow up at 400hp, the ignorance .

Man great job bro. You just keep setting the bar higher and higher lol. When you did the 800 whp were you on standard wrist pins? And how long did you run it on that set up?

Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
No the line doesn't touch the manifold. It's very possible it's a heat issue. So I'm gonna do some things to test that theory. It's just weird that my ka trans never did this at the same power level I'm at now but my z32 trans is doing it.

Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
yeah its possible. The only thing is this issue only happened once I went to the z32 trans. everything was the same on my car with the tranny swap. Same clutch and flywheel, master, and slave. only once tranny was swapped did the issue occur. That's why I made this thread to see if anyone else had t...

Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
No I don't have those brackets either. I've changed both master and slave, changed to a twin disc clutch, bled many times, adjust master rod, and used high temp brake fluid. It's still the same. I'm about to drop the trans again and see what's up. I thought I was the only one with this issue. I also...

Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
Sweet bro, I'm using a stock z32 shifter so no buzzing for me lol.
I'm still trying to figure this issue out. It's got to the point that I'm thinking it's a trans to block alignment issue or spacing issue. That's why I asked if your running that plate still.

Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
Yeah I have the same clutch setup as you. I guess my clutch is bad or something is wrong with the way the transmission is sitting against the motor. And we should tell mazworx about the crossmember deal. After hearing about yours that make 3 times I have heard about the mazworx trans crossmembers no...

Re: Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
Yes I had to modify my crossmember from mazworx also. Didn't fit worth a damn. I could have fabricated one for less and better quality but I didn't want to mess with it. I was under the assumption that it was a bolt on affair. I was wrong lol. What transmission are you using n/a or TT. Did you have ...

Mazworx z32 trans swap users help needed.
Just asking anyone who has done the z32 trans swap using mazworx kit ever run into the same issue I'm having. I first started to notice at high rpm while doing a 2nd gear roll my pedal would sink. Try to grab 3rd it grinds and the pedal is stuck down like it only moves back up 2 inches. Put it in ne...

I actually am using proefi, and I love it lol. Of course I'm gonna be biased and say if you have a good tuner that can tune and set up proefi, go with that. I actually got to tune and drive my car last night. Proefi' traction control is amazing. I feel so confident with the car. I'm actually getting...

^ that's how I have my car set up right now. Should be testing it soon. I bought a front hub and bearing assembly for an abs s14 and installed a sensor to it. Then for the rear I'm feeding of the vs sensor. As soon as the computer senses the different speeds between front and rear it knows it's losi...

I'm curious to see the difference it makes on your car. My car made right at about 700hp with a stock Intake and stock throttle body on 30 psi. I just installed an xcessive intake and a rx8 drive by wire throttle body, it's 75mm. I didn't want to go to big. I'm not convinced that our motors need tha...

That's good bro sometimes to be successful you have to take risk so I applaud you for making the leap of faith. Yeah I have a lot of fun driving around on 20 psi. I've beaten 2 600cc bikes so I'm happy. I've been thinking of upgrading my turbo also but I'm gonna try and push this 6262 to its limits....

No I'm sure mine won't rust inside the head with oil on it lol.the only way that can happen is if it's left outside with bad humidity or moisture, or it gets wet. But I still haven't seen any cases of l19 doing that.

Re: Q45 Diff question help please
I can only confirm that the 90-96 hubs work on our cars. Haven't tried or heard of anyone using the 97-01. As for the 300zx axles I'm pretty sure they would work as long as they are the same lengths as the 240's own. But I know for sure the pre 95 j30 axles work. That's what I'm using on my car for ...
