Re: Divided T4/Twin WG Turbo Manifold+More!(updated 3/26/17)

I don’t really leave a big gap between the pipes. Only before tacking, but just enough that after the tacking process the pieces are butting together from the shrinkage, yet they are not overlapping. I bevel them to nearly a knife edge, but not make the bevel so wide that you have to run multiple pa...

Wow. This thread has nearly 50k views! Glad to see photobucket pulled their head out of their ass... I still own the car, and the car is still sitting with broken ringlands. I’ve gotten so side tracked from this project, it’s not even funny. Let’s see, I learned how to do 3d CAD design, built a 3d s...

LMAO!! HELL NO!!! a while back a did a custom turbo kit in a R32 GT-R and....a s13 definitely has more room between the strut towers than the R chassis. Huge pain trying to stuff everything while keeping AC and PS. You’d think it would be the other way around since the R chassis is larger than our S...

Update on the car: Currently the car is sitting with cracked ring lands. 20psi on pump gas was a ***** blast but the stock Pistons couldn't handle it. This happened a year ago and the car has been parked ever since. Hopefully this summer I'll replace the broken piston so I can have a bit more fun wi...

Re: Adam's formerly supercharged... now soon-to-be-turbo'd,

Are you using a native SR20DET base tcd or a KA tcd converted to cop as your base?

I run the SR20DET tcd with no issues. I previously had issues with the car not starting using a ka tcd(that has been fixed) but I've been running the SR tune ever since.

Re: Adam's formerly supercharged... now soon-to-be-turbo'd,

It was probably over torqued causing it to deform or a crack to develop. My setup uses aluminum nuts and sleeves with a steel 90. I went with a steel fitting as it was threaded inside to allow the use of a restrictor. If the aluminum nut is over torqued, the sleeve deforms way before affecting the s...

Re: Head lifting issues solved Permenantly!!!

You're making perfect sense. Apparently this is also a fix for the 7m Toyota engines as well...which says a lot. Those engines are notorious for hg issues.

Good info for sure, just seems odd that nobody ever mentions these inserts.

I've never heard of these before. I did notice that some kits came with washers that had outside diameters SMALLER THAN STOCK which I thought didn't make sense. The 11mm stud kit I pieced together (but never used) has 7/8" outside diameter washers and have been verified to fit the cylinder head (ARP...

Yes COP requires an sr20det ecu. I'm running a #62 ecu on my setup.

Did you install your big boy fuel setup?
