Re: Nistune messing up over 3k rpm
OK maybe I should start there. Thanks for the quick reply. Only thing is that it wouldn't completely account for running rich past 3k in fifth cause I'm not not trying to hit boost (I.e. just cruising)

Nistune messing up over 3k rpm
So i had my car professionally tuned with nistune by a very reputable guy in my area, however for some reason after about 1 season it began to act weird. For instance, when i hit 3k rpm in 5th gear my afr is at like 10, and it stays there until i come back under 3k rpm. Does that mean the ECU is jum...

Re: Turbo Spitting Oil
So I got it rebuilt, but now there's still a **** load of smoke coming out of the exhaust cause of the oil deposited in there. I took off the exhaust but that oil doesn't come out with water or degreaser. Any ideas on how to remove the oil?

Turbo Spitting Oil
So I had my car stored for the winter and thought for the first time i'd be able to pull it out without haven't to put any work into it. I WAS WRONG. When i parked my car everything was running decent, then all of a sudden when i started it this spring, my turbo began to spit out oil at idle. I remo...

O2 sensor issue
I just wanted to know if a obd1 o2 sensor can be used in my s14 which has been converted from obd1 to obd2? I currently have the obd1 sensor hooked up with the signal wire from the engine harness soldered to the o2,but I am not getting any readings. Any input?

Clutch Good or No Good?
I just took of my tranny and realized my flywheel was slightly warped, It seems like it left an uneven surface on the clutch (i.e. gets thinner towards the outside). The clutch doesn't even have 10k on it, so I would like to reuse it if possible. Do you guys think it will be okay to use. Here are so...

Snapped wastegate bracket
Hey guys, i was at a red light and decided to give my s14 a little rip when i noticed that i was only making 4 psi of boost (supposed to be 12). Anyway's i popped the hood and noticed that the internal wastegate bracket had snapped in half, and the c clip was gone. Hence why i was making so little b...

So starting from the basics, i have a ka-t ecu converted from obd 2 to obd1. My o2 sensor has never worked for some odd reason. My car is tuned with nistune. So basically my afr's aint holding steady, and my car runs very rich, usually at 10-11 at idle and 10 when i switch gears and it gradually mak...

I dont know how but a washer or something managed to get in the turbo, now it makes no boost. it doesnt spool, unless i turn it off and move it around by hand. Im gonna have to remove i...

its tuned with nistune. I got it tuned by a shop. He told me to bring it in so he could make it run less rich. This is because I converted to obd1 in my kouki but i used the obd2 o2sensor so he said until i dont get the obd1 sensor hooked up he will let it run a little richer then normal. So im just...
