You can make 350hp reliably on your stock KA so you don't even need to open it up if you don't want to. I daily a 275-40 17 nt05 hooks fairly well. Sure a dr would be better. Can't say from personal experience 17vs 15 but I've seen plenty of good times on 17s.

Generally 350hp is considered reliable on stock internals, a few guys on here playing around have made over 500hp though.

Turbo ka with stock internals should fit your hp goals and budget and be reliable if done right.

I like that you stripped all the accessories before the undercoater. I know plenty of guys that do a half ass tape job and spray over the rest.
Did you use stainless wire to weld the stainless repair plates to the body?

So what causes the jams, specific mag or brand of mag?
My tec9 acts like that on anything but the mag it came with. With original 30rd mag never a single jam.
