You can make 350hp reliably on your stock KA so you don't even need to open it up if you don't want to. BTW cool build, I figured out a long time ago practicality isn't the only issue when building cars I just do it cause I want to. If it doesn't work out or you don't like it, change it or do someth...

I like that four post distribution bar. I usually use a ford starter solenoid.
You might look into the braille battery or the knock off of it think they're less than 10lb.

I daily a 275-40 17 nt05 hooks fairly well. Sure a dr would be better. Can't say from personal experience 17vs 15 but I've seen plenty of good times on 17s.

this is a sicky with basic info

I'm making 285hp@10psi with 130000 on the stock motor (see sig)
Generally 350hp is considered reliable on stock internals, a few guys on here playing around have made over 500hp though.

Turbo ka with stock internals should fit your hp goals and budget and be reliable if done right.

I like that you stripped all the accessories before the undercoater. I know plenty of guys that do a half ass tape job and spray over the rest.
Did you use stainless wire to weld the stainless repair plates to the body?
BTW sick mani.
Look forward to more pics.

My tec9 acts like that on anything but the mag it came with. With original 30rd mag never a single jam.

Do you dive enough to observe gas mileage?
I'm thinking about e85 after I build my motor, just wondering what it will do to mileage.
What quarter times have you run?
