Love. Gotta agree with that. I think I like the personalization more than anything. I have always loved fast things. I am an Air Force aviator and love flying but at the end of the day the job is stressful and I love being able to blow of steam by working on my car, knowing that it is mine, and mine...

I dont know you but I can see you have a huge amount of support here. If it were me I would reiterate what you already know to be true, family first. The car is a hobby and should never be a burden, but something you can tinker with to have fun and blow off steam. You will almost never get your inve...

I appreciate the input. How about keeping the brake booster/cylinder cool? Reflective piping and maybe fab some kind of barrier?

I have the same symptoms with stock throttle body and intake manifold. I still have the AICV hooked up with the vavle cover venting to atmo via a filter. I am wondering if my issue could lie in having a S14 KA motor run by S13 Auto ECU? I think our problem is something simple and native to both vehi...

NIStune has a system that automatically calculates the K-Constant based on the change from factory injectors to a larger set. Keep in mind this value is designed to keep the car rich (safe). This value seems to get further skewed the larger (farther) you get from the stock injecotr size. You can use...

Did it flood? Pull plugs and checked if they are soaked. Disconnect all the injectors and attempt restart, if it starts then dies, reconnect them and retry another restart. I have a similar problem and can get it to run by feathering the throttle but if it dies I have to burn the excess fuel in the ...

I have always wanted to start a car company thought bought old model plans from other manufacturers (ie Eagle) and sell them with modern safety features focusing on the tuning community. If anyone would like to invest our first models will be Nissan 240sx, Acura Integra, and Honda CRX. Engines avail...

I have no clue why it would be running lean. Especially if your plugs are soaked.

I am getting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator with a gauge so I can see whats going on. Is your MAF getting a good reading? If not or it is disconnected the car will go into safe mode and cause a super rich condition, that combined with big injectors with the K-Value in NIStune not properly pro...

As a rule, if a circuit pops, you can reset it ONCE. No matter what you are working on. You do that in an airplane you die with the quickness.

I have this same issue with my new build. I have replaced the TPS and the entire stock Intake Manifold and still have the same issue. It is easier to keep running with the TPS unplugged but will still die if you let off gas. I am also running NIStune board but have a faulty consult cable and have no...

Just about done with my first KA-T!

Hi all, I have been a member for a long time but rarely post becuase I usually just lurk and soak up the wisdom of those who have gone to the dark side with the KA. Just about done with my swap and wanted some feedback on it. Positive and negative happily accepted! 1993 240SX SE Coupe Engine: S14 Du...

I had a few lightweight flywheels in my time, I never could get to liking them. I like a stock weight one personally. I opted for a stock RB20 flywheel, with a 6-puck sprung Stage 3 from F1/Gripforce. I never had any issues with their clutches, so I'll stay with them until something fails without i...

your turbo may not be toast. What size is your oil return line? You may have oil backing up into the turbo.
