the tunes on point, its a rom tune from a friend in cali with a shop named deeps garage, ill most deff be taking my time this time and changing the oil at least 2 times then the final oil change will be royal purple, what kinda oil do you guys use for your break in?

its coming along great, if i go standalone later on im probably going to run AEM

Can we get some like down the side of the car shots so we can see how those rims fit? it fit fine, no modification at all...

well! i got it running at around 12psi, and spun a rod bearing but i already have a new crank, and all that jaz so should be going back together and running this week some time, ill have to get more pics up since ive been slackin lately

so i got all my parts finally and got the motor running, im close to 200 miles on the break in so far. im running a isis rs3871 now as well :) ill get getting rid of the q45 370 injectors and getting some 550s soon, a retune and turning up the boost to around 14-16psi. should be around the 300 mark,...

got it painted, and started getting it together. getting my head gasket tomorrow so ill have more updates tomorrow!!!

hopefully going to get the bottom end together by tomorrow and get some pics up, still need to order those 3 main studs though. got 2 pistons ready to go in and just gota file fit the other 2's rings and get them all in.

i had a rb20 at 16 with no job that i paid for my self man, a real tune isnt outa the question, just sell things you dont need to fund it. you wont regret it i promise. your tune needs to pull timing in boost and a safc cant do that. on my t25 setup i was seeing probably around 210whp at 7psi and 23...

with the studs since you can see them through the top of the flange i would just plop a weld on top of the hole and the stud which held the stud, the nut i would just put a small tack on the side of the nut connecting to the exhaust housing of the turbo. if that makes sense haha

PLEASE get a real tune, a safc tune wont do anything but blow your motor. it cant pull timing, so please get a tune man...you wont regret it! other than that it seems like a somewhat solid setup, there will always be a few bugs to work out in the begining but itll work out, good luck and keep postin...

ive blown 2 of them haha, what happens is the studs and bolts back out of the manifold and off the studs from heat and vibrations. after i popped my second gasket i started tack welding the studs and nuts on so they cant back out. never blew a gasket after i did that. first day i had my setup on the...

mines like right where your a/c is, no pics since the motors out in the process of being built. i had just a 18" piece of hose, i had it routed under the motor bracket first and that kept kinking so i ran it over top of it and it never really kinked but i had it like that for a month or so then...

seems fine as long as its not really kinking, if its just bends then the oil should have some pressure to push through the line and bends, i had the same kinking problem running a t25 setup but just routed the line differently and it was fine. kinda a inconvenient spot for the oil pan bung though ha...

just get a sr t25/28 and use and sr downpipe and o2 housing, makes like sooo much easier

lol i checked today, i dont have either of the very top bolts haha. but on my car its sooo easy to get to them since i used to have an RB so the trans tunnel is banged in a bit so theres alot of extra clearance.
