The only thing that is normal for causing a grinding noise is the dust shield between the flywheel and block. Judging by your picture it looks like you didn't put it back on so I would be a little concerned about the grinding noise. I trimmed my dust shield before assmbly to clear the bigger flywhee...

There are seals on both ends of the piston in the clutch master. If those wear out it will let the fluid pass by rather than build pressure. All this happens inside the master so you won't have any visible exterior leaks but definitely a dead pedal. Could be your problem. You can get a rebuild kit f...

If it's just the compressor housing is in the way why not just take it of in the parking lot at the shop and then push it in. Once they charge it push it out of their shop and throw it back on. Otherwise why not just get a cheap kit from the auto parts store and recharge it yourself at your house? T...

A 2860r should only be rated to about 350 hp so you should be good when you switch to that and definitely be good on a T25. I've seen opinons on a felpro gasket being good between 400 to 600 hp. I have even seen a dyno where 692 hp was made on a felpro. I would stick to 400 hp myself and would go co...

If the pedal is hard but if when you hold your foot on it and it slowly drops to the floor I would guess brake master. If the seals around the piston have worn slightly they may let the fluid by just enough to keep it spongy but still work. I would get a brake master rebuild kit. They are cheap and ...

nistune<jwt tune. JWT tunes are great. Nistune tunes can be just as good and for a lot of reasons better. The tune wasn't his problem, patience is Sicks problem, always has been. Wastegate spring wasn't correct and he was suspicious of that. If he waited for the correct spring he would of b...

Sounds like the quarter panel just needs re-worked some more. You can get a cheap set of body blocks and hammers at Harbor Freight for like 30 bucks. Hard to tell with out pics but the big block and hammer in the right place should do the trick. That metal is thin so it's pretty easy to re-shape. Th...

This link tells you just about everything you need to know. I cut the dust shield when I did mine. I'm not a big fan of letting some parts grind until the sound goes away. It's not hard to cut it and there is even a picture in this thread that shows where to cut. http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic...

Re: R.I.P stock block R.I.P
What I find most funny about this is...when I was out there in Nov. you said you were only going to tune for 300 maybe 350 but that would be plenty for you. I see that didn't last to long. Ha ha. Congrats on getting it running and good luck with the build.

Did you make sure you're putting all the caps in the correct spots. I'm not sure about a KA but one of the guys at the dealer I work at was swearing up and down that I got him the wrong bearings. When he would turn the last main 90 degrees after torque like the factory specs say the crank would lock...

Probably because he is avoiding the question in every post which makes people sceptical of the quality of the turbo's he assembles and would also take most of the credibility out of his statements regarding rebuilding a turbo. If I was posting on this forum with factual information and worked at Ga...
