no they dont charge more that is the correct way to do it. it yours does find a new one. all the machinists I know will back up there work if they messed up the step up. if yours is charging extra for pride he is a hack and drying to side step responsibility. also it is silicon not silicone. one is...

Any piston made from a 2618 forging will slap when your machinest is a douche. The low silicon content in the 2618 makes them have a high coefficient of thermal expansion. This means that the pistons will have to be slightly loose in the bore when the engine is cold. As long as your machinest measu...

I don't want any thing higher than 8.8:1 pistons, that's Y im looking at these pistons. My whole thing is having a piston that can hold up to the 700hp mark, that I have set for the engine, even though im only running 500. This is for the reliability factor. Run e85 if you can. Detonation will fuba...

Pistons for a built KA-T?
Ok guys im looking @ the Pistons below. I don't know much about buying pistons. I see the supertech's are 8.6:1 or 8.4:1 good for boost. And the arias are 8.8:1 also good for boost. But the weight is what I don't know about as the supertech's are 35g heaver, that's a lot more than the arias. The -cc...

What Turbo To Use?
Ok guys I am really lost on what turbo to use? I have a KA24DE, FMIC kit, Tial 40mm WG, Man boost controller. I was going to go with the Garrett GT3076R, but I would like to find something a little cheaper than $1300-1700. I could even be a journal bearing turbo. I am building this for a DD street c...

I changed the MAF and coil, but it didn't fix it. So then I changed the spark plug wires, because they were old anyways. When I pulled the #4 plug wire this time, it was dripping water out the end! I changed the wires and it seems to be running fine now. Thanks for y'alls help! I'll let y'all know i...

Add more R12, its kicking off b/c its only got ~7 oz. you need more like 28oz. And no you don't have to switch to R134a if you can afford R12 and have a R12 system and can recover it properly should you need to, then great you're lucky and will have colder a/c then most of us. Sorry I miss typed up...

well one your suppose to switch it to R134a, the other factor is are you for sure that you have it hooked up right? check the wires and make sure everything is straight there, and again check for leaks, you cant see free-on unless you have dye in it with a UV light, also you said you replaced the d...
