lol that car has a 2jz with a built tranny iirc...it's gone 8's before. He was in the 10.5 class last event down here in FL, guess they dialed it into the 11.5 for Maryland, good stuff.

Hmm it kinda sounds like piston slap honestly, not so much rod knock or anything like that. I doubt it's valve related valve tap sounds different from that.

How long ago was the clutch installed? Possible the flywheel bolts might be backing out? Just throwing it out there. Hope your motor is fine.
