Well sold my 240 but.....
It's an unfortunate thing, but I decided a couple months ago to part out my 240 build and sell my shell, as I found a new toy I just couldn't turn down. I've chatted with a couple members from here and they all said to post up the new project anyways... :D 1989 Toyota Supra 7M-GTE with the R154 5 sp...

Honestly I see no reason to run less than 9:1 CR if you have 93 available to you.

Re: Suggestions / Math of milling for compression?
Took a little longer to find it than I expected, sorry. Compression Ratio = C-P+G+D+V/C-P+G+D Where C = Combustion Chamber volume in cc's Where P = Piston Dome volume in cc's (if dished plug in a negative number) Where G = Head Gasket volume in cc's Where D = Deck Height volume in cc's Where V = Cyl...

Re: subframe upgrade!!
With what your saying, I'd probably recommend running about +1* camber in the rear, so that when it does squat it will roll in to about -2* which will hook pretty damn good with ET Drags.
As for squat, some squat is good, just keep it controlled.

Re: another subframe thread
Depends on what you want to do with the car. Personally I like the S14 subframe for the better suspension geometry due to the change in pick-up points. But you also have to weigh in price/performance increase as well. Not only is the subframe gunna cost you money, but the offset bushings to mount it...

Re: anyone run the starter relay bypass?
Ignition does both, feeds B+ to both positive parts of the starter interlock relay, I'm sure it does the same to the 2 main relays as well.. Really easy to figure out if you actually look at a wiring diagram...

Re: anyone run the starter relay bypass?
Why would you be looking into doing this in the first place? I really don't see a point to it?
To answer your question though yes you'd jump the B/W and B/Y wires to delete it. Would make it so you can start the car just by turning the key, clutch would NOT need to be pressed to start it.

Read and follow, have done this on every motor I've built and never have once had a problem. In fact had the best compression out of a couple rebuilt motors in the area (OEM rebuild to OEM rebuild)

Re: New wiseco HD pistons?
Already talked to a buddy that works for Wiseco. They aren't coming out until May/June of 2014. No word on pricing yet. Supposedly thicker skirts, thicker wristpins, lighter, and able to support 1600 hp. Off the shelf KA pistons from them are rated to 1200 hp though so I really don't see much of a n...

Yeah it was definately a little scary at first, worst part is the next day we decided the car had to be ready for the spring Import Face Off... Which was the next week haha.
And it's actually been in mind to sell the spray setup, but if I decide to keep it I'd be looking at a 75 shot.
