Re: New KA-T Idle Issues
If you had a perfectly running ka before turbo I doubt your valve timing is off. I would start with good ol brake clean and start spraying around the intake manifold for leaks. I remember when i first went kat even the smallest vacuum leak caused all kinds of issues. Also double check ur maf wiring ...

Re: Those who kept A/C
My ac blows ice cold even on the hottest days hear in florida. I have a top mount setup but im sure its still hot in that area. Having a fan on the condenser really helps too. I ran without turbo blanket or any downpipe wrap for months here and still blew ice cold. A good functioning compressor also...

i like the idea of the t at the oil pressure sensor. i find it a pain in the ass to replace that sensor, with a t much more access and you can get rid of the plate. But i guess either way it works just fine

cant see any pics. copy image location from like facebook or photo bucket etc, click image button then paste address between it. Also u should probably wash the whole engine down first then recheck for leaks with car running.

Re: Turbo Blanket...effective?
down here in fl after sitting in traffic for a while my engine started to get hot not over heat but gauge moved from middle. I used to not have a blanket and dp wrap. after blanket and wrap even after long driving and sitting in traffic temp stays good. def worth every penny

i had the same issue for a while..... trick was getting in spotless and the right size bead. dont go to big though u dont want that stuff dropping big chunks in your engine. wait half a day(little excessive but it leaked twice for me) start and drive for a few days recheck. u can do it!
