Nope, I have never had this problem with the 240... yet... Have you checked the fuse blocks in the engine bay for moisture? Usually this from a crack in the dizzy cap... or something like that, and will usually go away after it dries... I had a few vehicles do this, but as I said before not with my ...

Plugs are not the problem... after I replaced the knock, the problem was corrected... the only symptom now is that it won't rev past 2500 RMPS... but the ECM isn't producing any codes... any suggestions?

Update! After I fixed the knock sensor it stopped needing the plugs cleaned every first crank of the day... However, it has started rev limiting at about 2500 rpms... WTF!?!? I checked the ECM, but there is nothing there... The only thing it reads is 55!!! I checked the MAF because I have heard this...

I know the feeling, that's why I haven't pulled the motor yet... I want to have everything ready and waiting before I pull it, that way I just have to drop it off with the machine shop, get it back and put it together.... when I get it back I want to be able to put it together in a week end, then dr...

Ya, like I was saying earlier, I'm shooting for around 350-400... I am not interested in going stupid fast any more.... You just contradicted yourself. If you don't think an S-chassis at 350-400whp is stupid fast you haven't driven one. I know there are 500, 700, and 1000hp S-chassis cars, but anyt...

What all was done to the motor? A lot of people think their muscle cars have a lot more power than they really do. My coworker had a old chevelle 67ish with a 350, heads, cam, intake manifold, headers, 4bbl 670cc carb, etc. He thought it was making big power, went to the track and trapped 92mph. An...

1. This is definitely NOT my first "fast" car. My first was 1967 Mustang, with a 390ci roller motor that I built... I never put it on a dyno, but it had to have been pumping out at least 500 whp... However this is my first "fast" import car... 2. I know I don't have to build the ...

^^^^ Just came back from my test drive. I need to re-adjust the tps back to where it is supposed to be, but other than that, it runs like a top, all the other symptoms are gone!! :) So it was your knock sensor, correct? And your TPS voltage should be in the range of 0.45-0.55v with the throttle clo...

It could be that little guide in top of the chain... you know the one above and between the cam sprockets...
