Re: 2 Step Enabled Always

how are you disconnecting the signal exactly? are you unplugging the 15 pin or disconnecting the switch at the pedal? mabey you have a possible short to ground in the wiring or inside the plug or ecu itself? I would think that if you have a chance the next time it happens unplug the 15 pin completel...

Re: 2 Step Enabled Always

my 2 step has always worked flawlessly, :) feels good to say that about something for once lol.

so if I understand you correctly, you say the two step is enabled even if you disconnect the switch at the pedal?

Re: Who is going to try it?

I have been using ms droid almost religiously latley because of the ease of tuning with my tablet via bluetooth plus before now it was the only program that allowed you to create your own dashboards but because of these new features im considering buying a windows based tablet to tune with. flex fuel option opinions needed

I was wondering if any users are having any success with the flex fuel option on a diypnp, I would specifically like to know what sensor you are using and which input on the diy as well as any opinions you may have about setup and tuning. thanks

My mistake matt, actually there is no documentation whatsoever for the ka24de engine available from you guys so its no wonder people keep running running into the same issue's over and over and over. Some of the things I've noticed people have issues with on a consistent basis are eccs circuit issue...

Not trying to bust up your thread but this is what I mean about my problem with megasquirts marketing and image, if you don't own a timing light megasquirt may not be for you, it is marketed as a "plug and play" system and it is far from that. Installing and using megasquirt requires full ...

First thing is always to get your base timing setup, locked in, and verified. There are a few threads here recently that give detailed explanations on how to do this....

Cool man its important to note that everytime you change the #1 trigger angle you must cycle the power to the ecu completly on and off for the changes to take effect. Now lock in that base timing and you can continue your process.

thanks for pointing that out ricky, I guess I should have been a little more clear but the settings in red above are going to vary from setup to setup, the difference here is I am running wasted spark and coil per plug, also for instance your car may require a #1 tooth angle +/- 20 points in either ...

You shouldn't be getting any kickback because you should have your fuel system disabled until you get the timing light to match the fixed time setting. Other wise you are just going to flood your motor and foul your plugs. Get the timing to match first! Seriously it is the first and one of the most ...

Yeah those factory marks are no good anymore when you changed the disk you changed the way and time that the ecu see's tdc. It would be awesome if the disk fit up so you could still utilize those factory marks bit in my experience they don't. As long as you can get the reading on the pulley to match...

Ok with the CAS disk flipped i get no Sync so i cant strobe the crank. Is it really a big deal that btdc # 1 is 200 instead of 345. Could it be that my dizzy is out of time still like 180 out because the car will not start unless i switch the wires around #1 to #4, #2 to #3. If you flipped the disk...

I can understand you not wanting to recreate the conditions any more than necessary but keep in mind when it happens both spark and fuel are cut due to loss of sync. This is essentially the same thing that a hard rev limiter does, it feels dramatic but shouldn't do any damage to the engine. If you ...
