Haha I've been wanting to go to the track for a while but I broke the trans and then had to get new tires and stuff. Basically I was just really lazy. But I made it there this past weekend! I live in Merritt Island so it's not too far I just like going with others and nobody has been wanting to go. ...

Went to Orlando SpeedWorld Dragway this past weekend. First time running this car while KA-T. First time that I have ever launched this car so I wasn't sure what to expect. I am on 16-17psi. 225 17 Nexen bobo tires. This turbo sucks balls for my build. It's way to big. Anyways launched like dummy. I...

A little bit more done. Cleaned up some wiring. It's getting there slow but I'm hoping I can start it this weekend.

so i see you had a quality ROM tune, did you ever figure out why you spun the bearings?
It is a S13 JWT tune. We think either I bought the wrong size bearings or the APR main studs stretched to much. Which doesn't really make sense since they were only tightened down twice.

KA-T S14 is finally getting fixed

Original thread.  http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=51193&highlight= I am finally getting my KA-T S14 back and running. A little back story. Back in April 2011 I finished my car and was very happy with it. It seemed to run great. But after 4 days it blew up. It was knocking really bad. ...

Nice work! I have a similar yet less aggressive setup as you. I'd love to get into the 11'a as well.

im not sure about the z32 tranny havent done one yet and when i did my 5 speed swap it wont start bc the plug to the auto tranny has to know that the car is in park before start you have to find that wire and run a hot wire to it so the computer thinks that the car is in park. -there are side effec...

ok well you have conflicting questions sorta......1 you dont need to change the wiring at all but it wont hurt anything. also using an s13 tranny there isnt a crank shaft sensor so yes it will throw a cel "ONLY IF" you swap the harness over from your factory five speed. so being its up to...

New to me 1996 240sx project

Hello KA-T! I have just recently bought a new project! Woohoo Its a 1996 240sx SE. Its auto with 141k. The paint is rough but the body is straight. Just your normal 15 year old dings and such, but the interior is pretty much perfect. Just a broken radio bezel. I really like it! Here are some picture...

Q45 Differential/driveshaft question

I have a Q45 diff to swap into my non abs S14.
Do I need a shorter driveshaft because it is not an abs car? Or is there enough slop in the factory 2 piece to be able to use it with a Q45 abs diff?

Thanks

Welcome, nice looking car you got there. Sucks to hear about the motor, but looks like you got some good plans ahead for it. Thank you. It's all good. If I didn't blow it up I'd still be running around in a stock car. The plans were to put a C4 in it. But AMS stopped selling their adapter plate. AN...

Well the first thing you do is not jump on the first good deal you see online. I was searching for a few months for a car to replace my Camaro. I wasn't really searching for a 240. Kinda wanted a SC300 or GS300, but as dumb as it sounds I was actually looking for an EF to K swap but couldn't find a ...

Hmmm. That is weird. I know its Honda talk but a ton of Kseries guys use one Walbro 255 and a Bosch 044 in line with E85 and never have problems. That combination supports 800wheel on the K.

Hello guys. I joined this site about a year ago but do not really post. Never really felt the need because Im not the type to go in every build thread and post "sweet car" just to get my post count up. I realized this was not the best idea because I need to post a WTB thread and I cannot. ...

Old lady driven, very clean. Nice Z in the background Thanks! The Z in my buddy's dads car. Its some special one I guess. A 1994 I think. Its pretty quick for being basically stock with a boost controller. I think it pulled like 108mph on 10ish psi. All my friends have 240's so they eventually grew...

Here is my stock 240 that I got last month. Bought it from this really nice old lady who bought it brand new in 1995. It has a few rattles here-and-there and it's kinda slow, but I love the car. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4021/4290993257_24ae115f76_b.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2748/42910...
