well first off they stopped making the vert in 1994 so if it really is a vert motor you are getting then you will be fine. and second, is it the top of the plug/plug wire that is getting covered in oil or the bottom of the plug? run a quick compression check on #1 and #2 and see how they compare. if...

The crank/cam sensor in the dizzy sometimes like to fail only once it has warmed up. Then once it cools down again (20 to 30 min) it will usually work again. I had this problem with mine a few years ago.. Its worth a shot. And if not it is always nice to have a spare dizzy anyway.

R.S. Blow through vs. draw through

Ok. I have already emailed Martin on his views and he says that blow through is never consistent and that the MAF should be ideally 24" from turbo inlet. Now I am asking the community what you guys have had success / failures with. I would really like to buy the "correct" plumbing pie...

That "Turbocharging Performance handbook" is a bomb a$$ book. I have read it many times. Good choice. Another that I can suggest if you liked that one would be "Maximum Boost" by Corky Bell and "the Racing Engine Builder's Handbook" by Tom Monroe. You seem to be like me...

no, not selling it. I just bought it like 2 weeks ago. lol but it is a "universal" pipe so they Probably just threw on 2 O2 sensor bungs where they thought it would help most applications. Ours is not one of them, that is for sure. I'm just going to cap that one and put another further dow...

oh yeah, my Garrett already has the 3" v-band exhaust housing on it so I didn't need the 4 bolt adapter, but if you do get that it makes fabing up a down pipe so much easier when you can easily clock it around your steering column. Especially if it is close and all you need is a little turn in ...

atpturbo is exactly what I would suggest. They are very expensive when it comes to prices but they have EVERYTHING for Garrett turbos. i also have a gt35r turbo and I bought 150 bucks worth of oil feed stuff from them and it was well worth it. The quality is amazing. Make sure you get the oil restri...

I have a Z33 transmission and a KA auto bellhousing and I've been designing my own adapter plate. It's not a simple line up the holes and drill like other adapter plates - there are bearing surfaces and oil galleries that need to be incorporated into the adapter plate. When I finish my design I'll ...

20 would be as small as I would go. But for the price I would go for it. Its small enough to still comfortably fit in the garage but big enough to not be running all the time. I usually run my tools around 120psi and if the bolts don't come out they break off, so use your power carefully. lol

Ingersoll-Rand 2135TiMAX 1/2-Inch Air Impact $250 on amazon.com and it has 780 ft/lbs of torque. You wont have to buy another gun for 15 years. And even then you can just have it rebuilt for 100 bucks..

Thats less than 150 foot/lbs of torque which for the price is junk. It would work great for doing little things here and there but it wont stand up to hours of abuse very well. For what you are doing I dont think you would be very happy with it. That same ammount of money in an air gun would get you...

Now that I have read the build 2 more times...can you explain your rear end set up more? I see that you are using a z33 trans to a Q45 vlsd. Which you already stated is going to require a custom DS, but do you know how different the Q45 diff is from an s13 diff? (I know this isn't going into an s13/...

Set up looks like it is coming together clean. And using -AN lines for all of your vacuum lines should look nice and clean. Its a little too expensive for my bank account but I can't wait to see the finished product. Keep it up!
