Re: e-fan wiring write up ( edited-NOW IS THE CORRECT WAY!)
Holy crap I'm bringing this back from the dead but, I'm a little confused & hopefully someone can answer my question quick. If you're using the factory wiring, wouldn't that include the factory AC fan relay and fusible link? So, could you just wire the the new fans to the factory AC fan plug and...

Re: shift's build-that's wassup
So, as far as I've read...you were overheating for about a mile. Noticed a puddle of coolant under your car, found a line leaking and replaced it. Ran it for 30 minutes with the bleed screw off and to get all of the air out and now it only overheats while driving. When, bleeding for air bubbles, do ...

Re: Another Timing Chain Verification & Ignition Timing Issu
UPDATE!!! Figured I should update this just so everyone knows the outcome. I drove the car for a week without going into boost and without trying to mess with anything until last weekend. I pulled my distributor and stabbed it about two more times at TDC on #1 compression stroke and couldn't get it....

Re: Another Timing Chain Verification & Ignition Timing Issu
The dizzy should not be moved any teeth from stock. Leave it to where it idles beautifully and then check the timing with a timing light until you get to 20*BTDC. Since you are using an N62 MAF and 550cc injectors, I am also assuming that you are tuned for your setup, correct? If you are tuned for ...

Re: Another Timing Chain Verification & Ignition Timing Issu
My bad, yes I'm checking my timing with a timing light while the dizzy is fully engaged on a tooth that is the closest to lining up with the #1 tower. I understand that when it is correct as stated described in the FSM that the dizzy screw should be nearly centered in the adjustment guide of the diz...

Another Timing Chain Verification & Ignition Timing Issue
Setup: Built bottom end, bored .020 over, felpro hg, n62 MAF, 550cc injectors, isis t3871r on 10lbs. Just to give you a little back story...car was running great for about a year and half, at least I thought it was. Noticed, temp gauge was getting hot, so did some checks and found coolant level was ...

As you know.. set the motor with compression stroke on #1, cylinder at tdc, rotor pointing at the plug wire timing should be close. You can move your distributor a tooth over one tooth at a time to get it where you need it.. sounds like thats all you needed to do before. I think there is a mark on ...

S14 KA24DE Distributor Install/Ignition Timing ?'s w/ PIX!
I've searched and read countless write-ups on this but it seems like none of them are exact or maybe I'm just not understanding it. Your input is greatly appreciated! First question is...do you line the indent on the shaft with the indent on the distributor PRIOR to installing the distributor into t...

glowshift gauges
I have glowshift gauges and honestly don't have any complaints, I have oil pressure, boost, and fuel pressure. They're gauges, but honestly $200 a gauge is insane. +1 for glowshift imo.

Hopefully someone here could help me with my issue. To sum it up, I pulled my ka cause my valve seals we're going out and since it was out I just decided to build it. So just give an update on what I've done and my conclusion. My buddy and I rechecked all the fuses, egi pump and fuel pump, checked the relay and tested for voltage at the relay. Then proceeded to check for voltage to the actual 2 prong fuel pump connector and none was present. So, for a quick test ...

Car will not start?! Fuel pump not priming! Help!
To sum it up, I came back home from tech school the other day and my car ran perfect for 2 days besides failing inspection or being too low and my tint. My dads battery died so while he was charging the battery, he hooked my battery straight to his battery cables with jumper cables to put his window...

Car running dum rich and goes lean when I stomp on it?? HELP
Alright so I just finished my t25, 370cc, n60 build and rs enthalpy ecu. Here's my issue though, my car runs dummmm rich and my aem wideband always reads 10:1 until I give it gas and it makes its way up to about 13.5:1 but when I let go of the gas or shift it goes straight back down to 10:1. Also, w...

T25 setup running rich, then lean, then rich, WTF?? TUNE?
Ok so I have a t25, 370cc, n60 maf, 93 octane, and rom tune from rs enthalpy. Heres my situation...so me and my boy got my car running and instantly from the start it was running rich as hell, my aem wideband read 14.7:1 and in about 20 seconds it dropped all the way down to 10:1?? So I figured, may...
