Android and Nissan Consult, can it be done?
Is there any word of Nissan Consult software running on the Android OS? ECU-Talk made software the PocketPC so I see the potential. Are there any open source consult software available?

Wheres your consult cable?
http://www.plmsdevelopments.com/consult_if.shtml
EDIT: Do not buy the E-mance consult cable. They are pieces of **** and they do not use a male DDL/Consult connector. Also, please do not support e-mance.

Re: Problems bleeding air out of coolent
Came back opened the bleeder bolt on the intake manifold and started it up again, this time a bunch of air and steam come out but i never get coolent. The temp stays in the middle on the stock gauge where it should but there is still air in there. I have done this before on my other engines with no...

So you do not plan on doing real-time tuning with nemesys since you no longer have the nvsram board? Or are you just going to emulate and burn roms? I think selling the NVSRAM board for a Ostrich was a bad idea... How much would it cost for you to make another one out of proto board? Let me know via...

Another option for SOHC camshafts are PDM-Racing / Colt Cams. Check them out here:

I plan on going with their "C.406" camshaft once I have more work done on my S13.

Did you do a manual swap? Are you still running an automatic ecu? I read on ka24development.com that you'll experience cold start issues when using an AT ecu with a MT. Are you looking for the DDL/Consult plug or the OBD-II scanner plug? The DDL/Consult plug is on the driver side right next to the f...

Re: Compression test results.
Nice compression results. Do you happen to have one of the DIY NVSRAM boards? Did you make one? Or, where did you get it?jsd21hb wrote:Did compression test on my 100k ka24e before i boost it and here is what i got.

I wouldnt bother, it shouldnt be THAT tight. You just need to sacrifice an alt. belt to get it off. Wrap a belt around the pulley, then stick a pipe in the left over belt and twist it up til its tight, then just use a breaker bar on the nut. Also, if you are pulling the alt. just throw the pulley i...

Anyone have tips on removing the alternator pulley? Any tips or suggestions? BTW, I'm going to weight the OEM...
