What about the E opposed to the DE, any difference...? Those are all very interesting And I am gonna try those out and see what happens. Like I said mine is a Hardbody so I will be looking more for torque...I can't wait to try it out.

Optimal AFR for non-turbo KA....

I know 14.7 is the standard, but is the necessarily the best for power and torque on a non-turbo motor. Any thoughts, i just ordered my aem and i already have the safc installed on my truck, i'm pretty sure the afr's a way off. The safc setup on the hardbody seems to be different than the 240 as i h...

you can delete the EGR by buying or making a delete plate, i did this on my truck, they actually sell one on ebay. But you could just take the thing off and plug the hole on the mani and intake to clean it up a bit. Let me know what you guys take off and works for you.

I had that and after many days of testing it ended up being the distributor. Do yourself a favor and go buy a cheap inline spark tester and hook it up to a cylinder and run the motor. Watch it very closer while hand reving the throttle and. What your looking for is the rhythm of the flash, if it mis...

Thats a good question, all i have heard from it is that there needs to be mods to the wires and i never heard anything about swapping ecu's. There are a few guys that have done it if you can find them then ask. By the way you don't need the 240 intake to go turbo, you can make a plenum like this htt...

O&J has some bada$$ cams and intakes for the KA. As far as the pistons you have a lot of options it just depends what you want and how much you are willing to spend. Most guys use the eagle H or I beam rods with a good set of aluminum pistons, If you have the de motor that one is the easiest to ...

I know on the Hardbody E motor there is a little arrow on the back of the sprocket as well as a dot to line it up with on the cam journal. So basically you line the arrow up with the dot while having the crank at TDC. That the way i did it but i didn't read that in a book i just figured thats why th...

the cable goes the duct work or box. The cable goes to a little gear that opens and closes a door which either lets in cold or hot air. The door in the box is probably jammed. You really got to get under there to see it and may have to remove the dash which sux monkey balls to do. You shouldn't have...

No, your problem is a charging, battery, or connection problem, so look threw everything again. Its either 1. Battery 2. Connections"(battery cables, grounds, starter, relays, connection to alt and starter ect.)" 3. Alternator 4. shorted wire draining battery"(put a volt meter on the ...
