Im looking for new bearings for my kae but everything I find says the bearings are for e & de. Is that correct? Are they the same thing?

Yeah they cut the crank but what is size 10

I picked up my motor thursday from the machine shop and they told me I needed size 10 bearings for both rod and main bearings so I look up bearings at frsport.com and the sizes they had were from .25-1.0 so what does size 10 mean?

So there is nothing else holding the crank in other than the girdle?

Do you have a pic of the bottom end right after you remove the girdle I could explain better if I saw that.

No I need the caps that bolt to the block that hold the crank in. They go right after the chain gear and the other on the opposite end of the crank.

It's the caps on each end of the crank and I think it has a lip on it too

Does anybody know where I can get these things. I got rid of mine by accident and now the machine shop is waiting on me too bring some to them so I need them.

Also dont you machine the rods after they are already bolted down?

I am planning on getting arp bolts for my car and one of my buddys is trying to help me get some for cheap and the guy he is trying to get them from said if you use arp rod bolts you have to do alot more machine work be cause when you torque them down it makes them not round anymore. Is this true or...

Yeah I was told not to look at the hp rating cause they aren't always accurate more of an estimate. That's why I was asking here which would be better.

Which of these turbos are good for a 300-350 whp goal or are they good at all?

I know I can get to 300 but I just didn't know the amount of boost I can run. I know that depends on the the turbo but I wanted to know the max amount of boost a stock motor can hold safely.

If I had a brand new motor like everything in perfect shape with 550cc inj. and other fuel stuff and turbo stuff what kind of boost will that motor hold and how much power could it handle?[/code]
