I had a good friend try to sell me an LS swap for next to nothing when I first got my 240. I was dead set on making some power with the stock engine and didn't have any interest in doing a swap.

I hate those dumb butterflies. I used to own a Sentra Spec V and was constantly worried about the screws backing out - I probably had the intake off to check the screws a few times a year.

Sucks to see the damage - at least it's not too bad, though. Kinda wierd how it happened.

I don't know of a bottom mount setup. Seems like Jordan offered them as bottom mount but I'm not sure if he's still making them or not.

Why not go side mount?

I'm sorry...but if you can hear the engine run and see that everything is mechanically sound. $600 isn't a bad deal at all. I see people drop $300-$400 locally just for the 5 speed swap alone.
