I am entertaining the thought of a stand alone system. But yes cost was a reason to keep the stock ECU and easier to install. But i want to be able to run map and still have the ability to tune real time too.

MAP Tuning

What to do?

Been looking at nistune and calum. But neither offer MAP support. And that is a must. Anyone have any ideas to get around this. I have been looking into MAP-Ecu and there products, but would like some more options and some sound advice from other people.

Thanks

Well then. Just looks like i was wrong. I found that knocksense shortly after posting, and its looks pretty decent. Although if the turbo xs isnt all that bad, then ill have to go back and look at it again. As well as some of the older plx models. But after reading the thread about the wideband shoo...

What do you guys recommend for detecting knock, and possibly recording it too.

I did a quick little search and found some thread about the turbo xs, and it seems, its a little sketchy.

Any thoughts?

most of the people i have seen run the revhard have t3/t4 turbos and the space between the turbo and the is tight.

I myself didnt like it, and changed my whole radiator setup, but you DONT have too. There is space there, just cant remember how much.
