if your going to relocate it go ahead and either get the diy connector or get a mil-spec connector, the only issue with the milspec connector is getting a good crimper for the terminals

in that case just practice on scrap make sure the weld area is well perpared and move around to try and keep down any warping

the reason we tie into the strut towers is because of most sanctioning bodies rulebooks not to mention that the books ussaly follow wording along the lines of rear down bars must be mounted at an angle no less than 35*

deffinitly use shielding gas if your model has that option i dont like doing anykind of welding with flux core. gas or no go but at the same time i prefer to tig stuff as long as its not body panels

ehh i dont know i think ill be fine at 450 as long as i dont get stupid and boost happy lol, dropped another 100 on machine work today having the crank cross drilled and ports chamfered.

If you do tow dolly the car with the rear wheels down is is important to pull the driveshaft. The oil pump on the transmission is on the input shaft which will NOT be turning while you tow. You'll be spinning the gears & bearings with no oil, and that's all kinds of not good. exactlly what i wa...

Yea i was going to take the front cover to have it matched with the block. ive heard about oringing both good and bad just unsure if i wanna go that route

Taking bottom end to machine shop

so im taking everything to machine shop monday to get the bottom end set, bore hone, entire rotating assembly balanced. should i have them just bore it a straight .020 over or have em bore to match the pistons. Is there anything that yall would recommend to have done while its there such as knife ed...

i am running basic trigger with single coil. im using the diypnp maps for fuel and ignition i think my plugs are folled from starting with no spark. i got some new ones im going to replace them when i get off work and see where it goes since i seem to be getting a clearer rpm signal

ok all my sensor vref wires are recieving 4.939v and all the grounds are reading 3.6v. i think the clt thing was just a coincedance that when i plugged the tps in today it was reading -40 but i unplugged it and read 80 so im going to order a new clt and see the results of that. i went ahead and emai...
