Any experts in Megasquirt in the Tampa area?

Hey all Checking for a friend of mine - Is there anyone in the Tampa/Hudson area that could help get a megasquirt up and running and also provide tuning expertise? (Not a KA motor) He would love to find someone local - Any help would be greatly appreciated - I will pass on whatever info to him Thanks!

Id like to see velocity stacks vs a smooth transition from plenum to runner on a 700hp ka :D seems like with that much pressure a smooth transition would perform better. give me some time I got my tax return and plan on building my bottom end. :D My offer still stands - I have some velocity stacks ...

So far testing has been primarily on the plenum shape and volume. The flow bench wont really show any gains made by the runner length. And yes we are testing different lengths. Not that i doubt you but everything I have been told engineer's, the guys at the machine shop and based off of the best de...

Hey Nice job Seems like your test is limited to different plenum designs? I'd imagine you'll be able to optimize each of those plenums to get very similar results... My interest also lies in the runner length - Are all of the runners for your test the same length? Surprising gains can be found with ...

My reason for asking the question is that some of the stock Nissan Head Gaskets are very prone to failure even on an NA motor when you push the CR. Over the years there has been several good recipes for success so I wanted to hear what you guys had to say. Up until now I had not heard of any user ex...

Yeah - The reason I was asking about how much boost a KA stock head gasket could take is that the old L motors stock head gasket was actually better(there was one particular gasket if you could find it through nismo that was pretty good) than the felpro. Unfortunately the stock HG is almost impossib...

Mr Tiny :) Again - another ridiculous comment - go share this string with your Dad - you'll probably get grounded LOL I'm sure he would not approve of your comments and conduct - Being the father of 3, if you were my son I'd be mighty disappointed in you Say what you will - you always do! TanMan - those are some really idiotic comments - not even worth a reply Your signature says it all - It's always broken Go ahead and find a practical use for that motor - I did some more reading on it... Have you looked at forced performance or the garrett gtx series?

I'd get the gtx3017r with a .63 a/r housing. Should have insane spool and support 450whp efficiently.
You mean gtx3071r with a .63 a/r housing?

Hey Cory

I have a suggestion...

Can you make it so that donating members can also post in the classifieds? I would happily donate a little money to you guys...

Maybe if you hit 100 without donating, you get privileges, or if you donate you get instant privileges?

Just got done viewing all the pics - Did you make templates for your patches? If you make a template of the entire patch out of cardboard, you can then cut your perfectly fitting metal piece, tack a small handle on it, then hold it in place and tack a few corners, then continue to seam weld it, once...
