Re: Datsun 510 ka-t build
This build is so awesome. I've been contemplating swapping a boosted motor into my 510. As much as I would love to do another KA-T, I would love to get my hands on Nissans new race motor.

Re: Need help fast please!!!
To me the black S14 looks good, I guess it depends on how light your pull is and how much camber you have. If you ever switch from stock suspension to coils the wheels will sink in a little more. I guess its personal preference on if they fit or not?

Re: Need help fast please!!!
Sorry boss I overlooked that part, my fault. They look like they would fit fine, since you already have a light pull and roll. The setup you want compared to what I had it looks like it would fit easily especially on stock suspension. http://www.fitmywheels.com/fitimage/275/60/15/15/8/25/275/40/17/1...

Re: High compression turbo E85 S14. Worth?
Good luck selling it man. The thing that could make the sale challenging is the high compression on E85, along with the cracked dash (not that big of a deal though) & no airbag (eh, possibly). I agree with Supa about it being an 8k car (at least to start), it is very clean. If it comes down to i...

Thanks man. We decided to keep it as we need something to get hay for our horses & haul things around. I wish it had more power though.

So I made this video with my dad so he could show a potential buyer about the truck but the guy ended up not wanting it/ never calling back. Apparently videos like this are popular on Youtube so, I may make a video like this for the 510 and start using my GoPro again. Let me know what you guys think...

Re: KA-T questions.
Because I miss my car, ill put in my :twocents-twocents: I went KA-T on my first car and I loved it. (See my build thread for the setup if you wish) Made great power with a huge powerband. But personally I prefer going fast in a straight line not so much sideways (though it is very fun I just built ...

Re: ka-t setup
I personally would get rid of the standalone and go with Enthalpy for tuning. A standalone for your setup is a bit overkill, of course a standalone would never be a bad thing its just Enthalpy does great work for simple setups such as yours. (I had my ecu tuned by Enthalpy and it was F'ing beautiful...

Re: ka24det forged internals build question
I dont really understand the "no Boost" concept...what about factory turbo cars? I'm sure the dealer says take it easy, but who buys an STI and babies it home? One of my old co-workers blew the motor in his eagle talon and got it replaced with a brand new/rebuilt (idk which it was) engine...

Re: Autometer gauges, oil feed, egr blockoff and MS question
http://www.glowshiftdirect.com/oilfiltersenderadapter-20mm15thread-1.aspx I used that for my oil feed line instead of tapping into where others put their line. You could also use it for the oil pressure gauge (if mechanical). For the fuel pump, I don't know the limitations of your stock fuel pump s...

Re: Autometer gauges, oil feed, egr blockoff and MS question
I used an Autometer boost gauge (mechanical) for awhile and it worked perfectly. Never used one of their oil pressure gauges though, sold my car before I got to add one. But my friend and his dad use them in their drag cars and he likes them/ has no complaints about them. As for your oil feed line, ...

Re: ka24det forged internals build question
When one of my friends got his STi motor built he put 1000 miles with break in oil without revving past 4000rpms. Also while not letting the engine stay at the same rpms for a very long time. Then one of my other friends who got his s2k motor built was told to drive it like he stole it to break it i...

Would this work? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Turbo-Oil-Return-Drain-Feed-Line-Sandwich-Adapter-Plate-SR20DET-KA24DE-/140617586142 That one is a universal style so chances are the oil lines could be too short for what you need, or weird threading so you'd need adapters to put fittings together for your ...

So I'd say, not much power.

I'd put a vote in for a GTX3076R maybe even a GTX3071R (if response is most important) , you've def. got the motor for it.
