The A/C has been ice cold since 2 years ago when I bought the car. Well about a year ago I pulled the blown motor out to rebuild it and started running Megasquirt. Since then I have not had the A/C working because I didn't want to mess with the wiring. I live out in Guam now an decided that having A...

Did you make sure to tape the bulb off the expansion valve to the suction line? Yes, when I replaced it I gently peeled the tape off the old valve, installed the new valve and put the tape back over it Are you sure that hot water is not circulating through the heater core? Are u sure its full of re...

Need someone who knows about A/C pressures and blowing warm

SO I finally got my A/C gauges in the mail today. Popped them on the car and here's what I am getting. All readings were taken at idle ~1200 RPM with A/C on w/ recirculate and fan speed on 4. Low side - 27psi & 32*F. High side - 110psi & 95*F. I have recently replaced the drier and the expan...

I blew my stock motor about a month after getting my MS2 installed :D I 100% blame myself for not taking the time to tune it right before I took it out and beat on it over and over again. Did you get your LS2 coils hooked up yet? I've been using them for over a year now and haven't had a single prob...

Well it turned out being a black/pink wire that I needed to connect to. However, when that wire is connected to the blue/yellow wire coming out of the back if the A/C control unit, the compressor is on all the time. Rather than only being on when I press the A/C button. I hate trying to read wiring...

I've been running VTA on mine for almost a year now. I removed the PCV valve and replaced with a 3/8" NPT fitting which goes to a catch can. The other port of the catch can is going to the valve cover breather hole which I tapped for 3/8" NPT. The catch can has an opening on the top of it ...

Building the MS is fun :D My LC1 I ran it through the hole in the firewall on the drivers side. Getting it through the grommet on the firewall was a PITA since it is buried underneath the dashboard. This is on an S14, not sure if you are S13 or S14. But that's how I did it. I've got a 1997. So when ...

MS2 Extra on my 1997 KA-T. LS2 coils, MAP sensor, all the goodies.I have had it running almost a year now and I love it! I've been tinkering with it lately just trying to get it adjusted to the Guam climate and what not. Lately when I start the car, whether it has been sitting all night long or if I...

Yeah, I would really like to score a brand new one somehow. I don't like the idea of buying a used one since it may be in the same condition as mine. How can I get a new distributor connector w/ pigtail??

1997 KA24DE..... The 6-7 wire plug that goes to my distributor is crappy. It's 15 years old, the wires are brittle/corroded and it's causing my MegaSquirt to lose sync. I have to jiggle the plug around to get it working correctly. If anyone knows where to get a new plug w/ pigtail or if there is a w...

Yeah I have the Squirt running the fans for now. Sweet well I just looked at the wiring diagram and looks pretty simple, the Y/B wire from the back of the A/C control unit needs to be connected to the OR/B wire on the F3 connector (pin 45). I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks!

Wow, so I just have to move 1 wire around? As the car is now, if I turn the blower motor on and press the A/C button, the compressor does not kick on. It worked just fine before removing the OEM ECU. If it's just a 1 wire swap, that would be great.

Any way to run A/C w/ MSII?

Hey guys, last year I built and installed a MSII for my '97 240SX. I went ahead and got the new wiring harness as well so I could toss my old brittle factory engine harness in the dumpster. All has been well and she is running pretty good. However, I have just moved to Guam and it's hot here! I stil...

Running great now. Gotta get my AE sorted out, I just have it off for now. I think I need to move my TPS ground. Its a noisy signal. I think my timing table is a bit conservative but it works.
