Re: RB25DET transmission shifter position
Sorry for late reply. I come here maybe once per year. The shifter can be relocated using parts from GKtech I believe. I think they have brackets and such for running different transmissions. Edit: I honnestly can't remember though; I have too many different nissans right now, if it doesn't line up...

RB25DET transmission shifter position
Hi guys, I have a deal on a RB25DET transmission and before buying it I want to ensure the shifter seat in the tunnel hole without cutting it, anyone here still with ka24de and rb trans combo could share any picture to check shifter position, I've read it sits like 2 inches to the front of the car.

My machine shop got a grill bit the same size as the socket that is used for the nut and drilled to make room for the washers Good to know, as for the washers I saw the ARP ones are the same size as the stock ka ones, I think my grinded nuts will work as I'm just goi...

Re: Adjustable timing chain tensioners advice
neither I, It would be great for sure, I´m investigating If I can use one of the tensioner from a Frontier Diesel 3.0 wich is very common here in my country, and they look identical, Ive heard many folks that their valves touched the pistons caused by the slack in the timing chain sometimes.

Re: Advice Needed: Arp 12mm headstuds
How about the head? How did the machinist for the holes for the studs? Mine did what I think a **** job, for example, with the right tools the machinist could drill with a 31/64 drill bit wich is 12.3mm and the head would fit very well, but the machinist that did mine drilled the holes like 13.5mm a...

Re: Advice Needed: Arp 12mm headstuds
I usually like the idea of staying with the ka becasuse I usually dont like cross branding, every engine has its potential but its something much people do, I think the machining on ka worth the money, at least for me, it will hold a lot of boost, and your right, a LS weights a lot more, Im currentl...

Just get an oem wiring and get the nats disabled, you wont need the whole wiring from the 350z, just the ecu wiring, you can find it for 100$, and an Uprev Osiris cable to tune it

Just a little work, Ive cutted the the t3 flange welded over the t2, then I redid a t3 and welded in place, now the hx40 fits perfect without touching anything. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c305/kosovo37/Mobile%20Uploads/20161107_161712_zpsxqvhm4t8.jpg Also welded an ebay wastegate pipe http://...

Re: S13 ka-t Venezuelan project
Just a little update, welded a t3 flange to put the hx40 to test fit. I going to cut some part of the motor mount bracket because the compressor housing doesn't fit correctly. http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c305/kosovo37/Mobile%20Uploads/20160903_114949_zpsefwo8eah.jpg http://i30.photobucket.com/...
