Re: Ikera's SOHC Ghetto Ricer

Looks like and makes me wonder if Mitsubishi galant lights would fit. Looks good though, in a quirky way. Actually I have seen a pic of S13 with Galant front end, it looked awesome. Where did you get the tails? Are they ebay tails that you modded, or did you fabricate the entire thing? yes they are...

Re: Dying Alternator?

update I took out the alt and ripped it apart. Looks like one of the brushes was worn out and the slip ring was was scrapped up. So I replaced the whole alt with a used Hitachi Alt. It fixed the problem, now the idle voltage reading is ~14.0v kinda disappointed that the dash light didn't function pr...

Re: Take a look at my setup am I missing anything obvious?

I would suggest get an oil sandwich plate , they usually have 3 or 4 1/8 NPT ports (most common thread size) and your oil pressure sensor probably will thread right into the plate oil feed line size -4AN about 3' long, and I believe with this size of the oil feed line you will not need a restrictor ...

Dying Alternator?

first of all I'm running a D31 Optima Yellow Top (Big-Ass Deep Cycle RV) battery in my hatch, it can hold a lot of power. first I noticed my gauges were a little dimmer one day, next day noticed the car didn't crack as fast as it used to, and on the third day it almost didn't start. As soon as it fi...

I had an emanage blue on my s13 and to be honest I'd rather have an safc. The only perk is timing retard based on tps and rpm. Unless you plan on changing your setup drastically often I'd get a enathapy ecu or go full stand alone. My .02 cents haha thanks kinda makes me feel better, but doesn't e-m...

the oil return fitting is on there pretty solid, 2 years now and no leaks, no drain problems, iirc it's 1/2" ID funny thing after I put it all back together, somehow I managed to drop the valve cover semi-circle seal into the oil pan, I was really pissed off at that moment. And do this day the...

Update, I drove around with "my third N60 MAF" for about an hour and a half around a park, at full throttle, full boost, partial throttle, high and low load, it seems it doesn't matter, it can die at Random and then not die for half hour. So I gave up on it and swapped back to "my sec...

short story my N60 MAF runs fine most of the time, except sometimes it stops working (voltage output 0.0V) until I "reboot" the MAF by either turning the key to off position and turning back to on, of simply unplug the MAF and plug it back it? Does this MAF run on Win98 and requires consta...
