Speed based boost control

MS comes preconfigured to run boost control according to rpm, is it possible to switch it over to speed based or gear based boost control?

To answer my own question and since no one seems to actually know what it is, req fuel is: "injector pulse width, in milliseconds, required to supply the fuel for a single injection event at stoichiometric combustion and 100% volumetric efficiency." Very eloquently written, but as abstract...

But the afr table is only in use when enabling wideband feedback corret? And i still don't understand what the units in the ve table are for. Why does it go over 100 if it is in percentages. If i want to add 5%more fuel i just add 5 to whatever number is on the ve table?

AEM is setup in KPA also. I don't get it. Also, how would you do injector percentages? If you want to change injector sizes with MS, you can just do a calculation of what percent change in fuel you have and change your req fuel value like that. Or just use the calculator in tunerstudio, which will ...

It depends on your ultimate goal, but i was in the same boat years ago and went years being satisfied by running a 100 shot of nitrous.

a quick test for the maf is, disconnect the maf wiring harness while the engine is running, if the maf is bad the vehicle should actually idle better with the maf disconnected as the ecu goes into limp mode.

My mistake, i didn't make myself clear. As far as the elusive crank trigger system i found out that It's extremely complicated to set up a crank trigger on aem because it has it's own set of functions in terms of dealing with crank trigger signals. Setting up a crank trigger wheel on MS is easy but ...

This is how i have my fuel map set (this is for 550cc injectors)
Image

Note how simple it is to examine. Engine load is in psi, and injector units are expressed in %duty cycle. This makes tuning extremely intuitive.

No ****. The point is i want to see 14.7psi reading on the fu@^#ng thing rather than have to think "hmmm 101.3kpa is equal to 1 atm and 1atm is ALMOST equal to 1 bar. and 1 bar of boost is equal to 14.7psi, oh but wait, MS is in absolute pressure so if i want to figure out the exact boost this ...

I'm starting to see why megasquirts falls flat on it's face, it doesn't convert to psi and fuel injectors can't be converted to percentage for an easy tune.

JWT cams have mildly increased overlap. According to them, they would work fine at 10psi boost. Above that they recommend spreading them apart once click each using their adjustable cam sprockets.

Found some cam theories: If you have cams with more overlap, you can always adjust the overlap by advancing the intake cam and retarding the exhaust. Even if you can't adjust the cam timing, a cam with a slightly more aggressive N/A profile will usually make better power under boost than the stock c...
