manifold looks good. not sure how the welds and stuff are but the concept of the design is good. let us know how much boost restriction gets uplifted (hopefully you'll be "boosting" less) and also where your TQ curve moves when you give the dyno a run.

use a on-center turbine housing turbo. will work just fine with plenty of extra room for a downpipe. if you don't know what on-center means...look up on-center t04b's. older turbo designs but a lot of times they are on-center turbine housings. if you dont like that choice..sell your revhard and have...

MAF selection

Can I get some experienced input on GM MAF's from some people? My dad messes with crown vics all the time so he has a ton of MAF's lying around. They look pretty damn big too. I doubt they're the same as Cobra MAF's or anything but yeah. If anyone has any input, let me know. The tuning will be from ...

it depends what area you're living in. If it's mostly open roads and easy turns, it's not bad at all.

Do you guys think I can pump fluid into the rack and then plug it back up to help ease the steering? Or will the pressure build up too greatly from not having any return?

Here in San Francisco, CA we have 87, 89, 91 and it is damn expensive. Sunoco about 15-20mins away has 100 unleaded gas for 5.29/gal last time I checked but probably raised by now because I checked over a year ago.

Ya, last time I drained it to fix some of the leaky sensors, my dumb ass used too small of a funnel that was quickly overwhelmed by the MTF when I opened the drain plug. ALL over the floor it went. I'll go ahead and drain it again when I swap drive shafts as the rear tranny seal is leaking pretty g...

someone in the past gave me a hacked off drive shaft peice. I just stick it into the tranny when I do tranny work like that. Other than that, in the past I used a plastic bag and tied it up. And yes it will leak and it stinks pretty good. All that add-ons they use to make MTF better makes it smelly...

I've actually seen huge gains from Meth injection if it's set up correctly. I've seen a few people run over 25 psi on pump gas using Meth, and working well out of the efficiency range of the turbo's they were using. Agreed. I wish this forum added an Auxiliary Injection Forum so we can talk about i...

i think you shouldnt bother building a NOS engine. KA engines are cheap and preaty easy to find and nos is eventualy going to kill most engines any way. this is defenatly the wrong forum you might try 240sxforums or zilvia.net power kills motors. N20 should not be excluded under this idea. power is...

everything now is 100% done. Honestly it's going to take some getting used to because San Francisco is very twisty. This car will be a full drag car one day anyway though. With 2 hands it's not bad.

I also agree splicing the SAFC in kind of sucks and sucked when I did it. Just gave me an unclean feeling. But $300 SAFC + $300 harness you can just buy a nistune or enthalpy tune.
