Re: Going KA-T?
I'm local (Baton Rouge area) and would possible sell you my S14 ka-t for a steal if you are interested. I have tons of money sunk into it, and have lost interest in it. It is a pretty serious setup and has high quality parts. It runs good except for a 3rd gear syncro problem. It even has working A/...

Re: Constant bubbles from coolant bleeder, cold lower rad ho
Well im at a loss now. The bubbles are still coming up. Replaced the thermostat, waterpump and radiator (they were all worn out anyways). Just resealed everything and made a coolant pressure tester. Cooling system holds 15 psi no problem. I used soapy spray bottle and bubble tested everything and n...

Re: Going KA-T?
Yea its just the price i would pay to build the car the way i want would cost me about the same amount as it would to buy a new car. I have spent too much money lately on it just to keep it running. I am getting too old to be spending my weekends working on the car instead of being at the track.

Re: Going KA-T?
Yea that was the plan. However my plans have since changed and i will be getting rid of the 240 within the next year. I spend more money on it trying to keep it running then i do driving it and enjoying it.

Going KA-T?
i am at a point in my life with my car that i am debating on whether or not to keep it. Here is a little back ground info. I got the car on my birthday in Jan of 2012 for free. Friend of mine called me up and said he knew of a way that i could get a 240sx for free. He continued to say that a buddy o...

Re: New guy from NOLA.
I go out to weekly meets during the day when its warmer outside. My only problem with the Sunday night meets is that they start too late at night for me since i have to wake up at 5 am the next day to go to work. I should be at quite a few of the drift events this year. BTW I am one of the admins on...

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
For a National KA meet its not worth my time. Regional yea sure its worth it but just for KA's its not worth renting a track for a day @ $2500. It also appears to me according to the pole that a majority of the people in the South East are willing to travel, where is the other areas arent so willing...

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
I understand being devoted to driving to a meet, willing to risk it,ect but not everyone is financially able to make a 8+ hour trip or even wanna drive that far or able to trailer some will some wont, the idea was to have a KA meet originally so you may be knocking off over half the ka people and mak...

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
I'd be interested on coming but I won't be drifting changing my setup from drift to more drag.the track isn't but 6 hours from me but for some that may be to far since its not center located I guess it would matter to who all actually planned to attend. That is a valid point that you bring up and i...

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
How many of you would be interested in drifting? Looking at limiting this event to 100 spots total as we have limited space and limited funds to rent out the track. It would most probably be held on a Saturday in June of 2014.

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
I've checked it out, looks awesome! This seems like it would be a great venue to host the "once-a-year" event (plenty of parking and places to stay and eat in the area. Its kind of a hike from Philly, but if the predicted turnout for this event is huge and it is once a year, I would consi...

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
For you guys who may have not heard about it or heard about it and have never been, i posted a link to the live cam which is on the North Track @ Nola Motorsports Park. I think this is a great location for a once a year 240 meet.

Re: National KA meet possibilities and interest
I am very sorry people for my lack of responses and interest. Just when I thought I might be settled I have applied and await another move and job change. Way too many too soon so if somebody is willing to carry the torch let it be. I'll still be around, but I've been thrown other obstacles. i will...
