Street racing scene big in cow town? I don't know. Ive been out of the loop in the car scene for a good year and a half, too busy workin. I don't street race. Besides fooling round with a couple few buddies. I do know it's gone up since they got rid of out race track a few years ago and the closest...

Re: 346 whp and 349 ft lb @ 15 psi. built ka with hx35
I'm up in calgary alberta won't run that much boost unless I switch to race gas. I keep taking out bearings and rods when I make lots of boost on pump fuel. I'm more than happy with it. It hauls like a freight train. I was hoping for 375-400 but my tuner and I decided to stick with a fairly conserva...

Awesome! thank you!
Learn something new every day about this thing haha, didn't know you could export the tune stored in the ecu.

Heres a vid, Rear tyres were 245/45/17 Falken Azenis rt-615k with ~25psi. She feels kinda slow :/ maybe im just used to 10psi lol. Don't plan on upping the boost until i get a better exhaust manifold/twin scroll.

bullseyepower T3 .70ar turbine housing will give you 300rpm's of spool and lose nothing up top. Well worth the $200 they go for on extremepsi. I made 411whp with one at 20psi on a sr20 on 93oct and a jwt rom tune years ago. It will like 16-18psi a LOT better. Jst starting to get into the effeciency...

Cool. I somehow missed this dyno sheet. Very similar to my old setup. CP, Eagle, HX35, 10-15psi, yadda yadda. At 10psi this is about what I was seeing in virtual dyno, so cool. Your cams help out though, stock S13s for me. And oh, seeing your dyno curve reminds me that I miss my HX / turbo in gener...

Im not dead set on the Holset, but I have heard they are built tough and last a long time. I have nothing against the T3/T4 setup, but I am on a bit of a budget, and I think I could get 2 hx30 for $500. They seem to run 200-300 rebuillt. For that much I could afford to buy a spare when I am a few m...

First thing id do is a compression test to see how healthy your motor is, unless you plan on rebuilding it. 250-300 is good on stock internals. reliability lies in the tune. Bad tune = motor go KABOOM For installing oil squirters on the ka24e block (someone correct me if i am wrong) but you'd have t...

NEVER up the redline on stock rods. The stress on the rods is to the square of RPM, you're just looking for trouble. She still was making power up to stock redline and i was curious and bumped it up. It was just a spare block i had lying around while i was waiting for my other block to get back fro...

Did you degree the cams? No, not really, just shimmed them properly, I still have the stock cam gears. Should probably invest in some JWT gears haha. I haven't had the time/money to get back on the dyno yet. I wouldn't mind going for 16-18 psi on pump for next year but im more than happy with where...
