wow haven't logged in here in forever. that's my old car up above. the reason welds are tricky is because they have a flat mounting surface on the backside (no "built in hub" like most tuner wheels), thus the need for massive wheel spacers to push them out past the caliper. i had to run so...

actually scott tunes leaner than JWT. if it's running overly rich, there's usually another issue that was there beforehand. the majority of people who get tunes, be it JWT or Enthalpy, or other no name ROM tunes, end up with problems because they were already there beforehand. i've seen many a KA-T ...

make sure you call them about the ES master kit. i've seen it listed on alot of sites with those parts: -front and rear swaybar and endlink bushings (which you wont be using if u get cuscos since they wont fit) -front LCA bushings -front TC bushings (you have teins so dont need those either) -tie ro...

those look nice. but damn cusco and tein, that's alot of $cratch! i would advise getting the rear upright ES, SPL, or Nismo bushings to take full advantage of the rear arms, and some FLCA and steering rack bushings to pull all the slop out of the front end...maybe some new front and rear ball joints...

nice. put your upper rad hose on before redoing that cold pipe to verify clearances with that, or else you'll be working around it trying to get a radiator hose to fit. it would be really trick to cut the water outlet on the intake manifold and weld a 90 degree J-bend there, to be able to run a stra...

1 plug versus 2 on arch of #1 intake runner above throttle body (2 is for obd-2)

or the easiest is to look behind driver headlight. charcoal can = obd1, nothing there (means its behind passenger rear wheel next to trunk) = obd2

for street use no, but if you were at the track and had an s14 you could pull the driver's headlight and run a ram air style setup almost to get cooler air (actually you would have to have a kouki s14 with the hole in the core support, zenkis dont have a hole in the headlight area). if you run an AE...

the 4 lug fno1r-c that spl parts sells in 17x9 +20 works really well on s13's. depending on the tire size up front there might be some camber or pulling issues, but my friend runs them (i wanna say 235 or 245 all around too) and it looks pretty stout. if you're 5 lug, the 17x9+15 should still work u...

yeah i will move the BOV to the hotpipe as soon as i get it all welded up. i want to redo the cold pipe like the fmax/greddy kits for the KA, to go with the 'tuck' theme. i have to retuck the vacuum lines up front, only had a few lengths left and had to get it running.

quality isnt the best, but the car is running again and stuff. Not much has changed on the outside except the addition of the little touch to the wheels. Under the hood is a JGS manifold/dp setup, and JGS rubber mounts swapped in from the old JGS poly/half solids. Feels much better. Car pulls differ...
