Re: iPod/auxiliary connection sans stereo

If you have an amplifier you can use a male headphone jack to rca cable. No deck required. Just need something to turn the amp on. Either a 12v switch or splice into something that has power whenthe ignition is in the on position.

Re: Competion Clutch White Bunny Question

So far it feels pretty good, great for a dd. 2500 miles but I'm only at about 225 to the wheels right now. Need to get my final tune and report back. Others have said that theirs held high 400's.

Gonna be hard to hit that HP on a t28? For the head someone was selling some 264's cheap and you don't have to do anything to the head to make them work. You can add those anytime tho.

Re: Did I royally screw up my cams or is there hope?

On the intake just loosen the bolt, realign and torque. I find it easier to remove the gear with the cam installed... I have had luck installing and removing the cams with the gears left on...but if you want to remove them use a large adjustable wrench to countertorque while the cam is still install...

Don't think so... he refers to the pulley and only talks about one... and I would definitely use locktite on the flywheel ones.

I would think the size of the turbo and housing, amount of boost, manifold design, exhaust size and even the boost controller and solenoid would also contribute to the selection.

Re: JWT Cams questions

Look up the ka harmonics... I don't know that I've seen anyone run these over 7500 with the third and fourth order harmonics. I have a balanced assembly also but my limiter is at 7200. I run out of cam by then anyway. One thing I've seen is that they take the crank and drill/tap the hole for the bal...

Re: JWT Cams questions

There is no way that I would run a cam (c78) that big. 240° of duration at .050" of lift. 228° is about the max on a turbo and that would be for a drag car or highway killer.

What kind of fuel are you going to be running? Of the turbos the 5831... you will be waiting till 4500+ rpm to get that other one to spool up. You don't say anything about your head/cams or head gasket. Exhaust should be 3"+ as soon as possible.
