Car shuts off randomly- Electrical gremlin. ECU??
Hey there, Been working on a buddies 89 Hatch with an RB25DET S1. Everything was good then had consistent and weird electrical issues. Fuel pump relay is jumped by the last owner for whatever reason. Big thing is the wiring is a mess in this car and by accident i pulled 12volts off the ecu and jumpe...

. Wow, you did work on that fender! That's looking great. All the contours look spot on; must have taken a lot of time and finesse to coax that metal back to shape. Whats the plan for the head light? Does it still work (with new bulbs? There was a video by Nori Yaro on youtube, in which an R32 used...

Man, sorry to hear that. Tubular would be a great solution; could even have the tubular front attached with a sleeved bolt in kind of setup for quick change/removal. Swapping engines would be a breeze, hah. As I'm sure you know, these tube front ends and front bash bars can also be designed to purp...

Re: Engine testing for goin' snail power.
Skip the metal HG unless you're going to deck the head and block. If you don't a MLS headgasket won't seal properly and you will just have problems. For your power goals hands down go with a felpro, its more than adequate. New oil pump and water pump is for sure a good idea. That's how most of us le...

Re: First Car and First Build: S13 DD Ka-t
In the picture with the timing gears your intake cam has cylinder #1 intake valves open. You want the first two cam lobes faced left so the intake valves in cylinder #1 are closed and your exhaust cams lobes to the right so they are closed as well. Then you can properly count the links properly to m...

You can turbo a ka for 1500, but itll be hard to make 300whp. Get stock evo8 injector, convert to top feed. Diy megasquirt, ebay manifold, ebay exhaust, ebay fmic and piping. My car is bought though ebay lol. Only real complaint i have was my obx manifold had warped flanges. Ive picked up a generic...

$1500 is not going to be enough for sure. If your wanting to go top mount like the picture shown you're gonna be way way over that budget. That manifold looks like a DOC or something which alone would rack you up to 600 bucks. You'll have to go bottom mount setup with a turbo like street_240sx menti...

Hey guys, brand new to the forum, relatively new to owning S-chassis and somewhat familiar with NA-T. My question is: are there any tests you would do aside from a compression test to determine whether or not your engine is healthy enough to consider boost? Naturally, boost will exacerbate any issu...
