After a 10 year run...

My car is now sold (Deposit has been made from the future owner). It's be a nice 10 year run with the car and the KA. I hope the new buyer will take care of it like I did. I will keep on coming on the forum to help out. Who knows, I might end up with another project someday !!!

Re: Let us conclude our threads!

I did this a few times when solving issues, adding [Solved] in the post subject with the solution. This can help a lot.

Bump, the little spring broke again, decided to JBWeld the air regulator plastic tube part (IACV is still working normally). No need to regulate the idle in winter since the car is stored. Idle has never been that good !

I agree that something needs to be done to the current site or that the knowledge base here needs to be transfer somewhere else.

Has the car been tuned? If not, I would wait before running the car. Keep the spring you have, you will probably go to that level of boost eventually.

No, on a ka, S15 T28 will not hold power till 7k rpm. Peak torque will most likely be around 3000-4500. Full boost should be around 2500-3000. Decent setup for the street.

Use the bc cam card to degree with the JWT gears. I will get a set of gears soon. You can go on a dyno or save few $$ and use virtualdyno. Let us know how it goes. HP and TQ gain was nothing compare to the changes in the powerband.

Water injection would do what you need. I know you don't want to run it but it is still the best thing to reduce/prevent detonation. No need to run meth, only water. Cheap, effective, what more could you want ?

Sorry but no way a T28 @ 10 psi makes that kind of power. 200-210whp depending on the tune.

Either one of the rubos will be fine. Just make sure it's tune properly.

Cannot get the 750rpm... -Sometimes drop to ~1100 and timing drops to 8 on NDS. -Pinched the hose and the rpm dr...
