no . he means fabricate one. buy 2 feet of 3" pipe, 2 90 egree bends 3" a case of beer, and (1)share beer with a buddy who has a tig welder, or (2) bring it to a muffler shop and ask them to weld it up for a hundred bucks or so, then drink your beer while you install custom downpipe. eithe...

heater hoses?

DE track car with no heater, will be using an excessive intake if that matters. is it okay to cap off my heater core lines or is it an absolute must to recirculate? today i cut and welded (one of many i have) the heater core nipple on the block. thought i should ask before running it.

mostly for domestic applications. the v8 guys that make 500+ have been using them forever. also engine plates, which mount on the front. midplates and engine plates are "engine mounts" on the front and back of the engine that more securly hold it in place instead of side mounts flexing you...

i have had ideas lately about using a midplate on my build when it gets serious. i notice alot of guys using these 1/2" flywheel spacers with the 1/2" trans adaptor plates, couldnt i use the flywheel spacer and make up a 1/2" midplate and get rid of the cradle and side mounts? not sur...

yeah i once torqued my arp 10mm to 73 ft-lbs but it wasn't started. hopefully i didnt wreck them. i see id probably only torque them to 60 ft-lbs for an n/a build and maybe 65 or so if i boosted. but i do plan on going bigger studs one day. no one has mentioned ; kedbmx's 12mm arp2000's held 10:1 co...

thanks guys !! im definitly going to keep up with this project. i plan on sorting things out and taking on another payment in july of next year to complete the car. it was a long hard road last year and i definitely learnt a lesson about spending more than i make, currently im bringing in about 2400...

as i said i would post my update here, my 8 day permit on the truck just ended. it ran strong but im having a surface prep issue with a head gasket. coolant is in the oil and compression is good. but the oil pressure light is on, im pretty upset about it but i need to bear down and solve the problem...
