What's the latest greatest thing out right now for KA24de, what have you seen that you may have not seen in a long time or haven't seen at all.

It kinda seem like support for Ka24de is slowing dying out. everyone wants 2j,RB or Ls these days.

also what size is your cosworth head gasket. my engine is bored .20 over so i think its 89.5 also but i thought cosworth gasket comes in only one bore size. and i thought that when you o-ring a block you have to use a cooper head gasket

Re: Head lifting issues solved Permenantly!!!

I measured a factory head oil galley hole and the stud to get the difference and determine the diameter needed around the stud. Then I measured the 12mm stud and did the math of what drill bit I would need to maintain that same diameter around the stud as was there with the 10mm stud. what part num...

Well, that's good. At least your block isn't destroyed. My only suggestion would be to find out what type of time-serts they are using and try a different brand. I've used these in my past two blocks and they have held up fine torquing to 100 ft/lbs: http://www.mechanicstoolsandbits.com/inserts-for...

Re: Oversize valves

A bigger valve allows more flow at low valve lifts since the diameter is bigger. The valve spends more time at low lifts than max lift and this is why there is an improvement. This is why monster cams with high lifts don't make instant mega power like most people automatically think. BUT the valves...

Re: Steering issues. Who has the answers?

if your rear subframe slides, it most likely wont be perfectly straight forward or back, it will end up cockeyed and skewed to one side or another, forcing the car to track one way or the other almost like a crab walk, forcing the front wheels to turn on theyre own to compensate. i can floor it and...

I have a similar issue. Only thing I never replaced was the subframe bushings. I put spacers on and have had the issue ever since. I believe the subframe itself is sliding under different turning, braking, accelerating loads. I think we just have to bite the bullet and drop the subframe and burn th...

Steering issues. Who has the answers?

For the SChassis guru.. Steering issues. When I do a sharp turn right and then go straight, the vehicle is going straight but the steering wheel is slightly to the right still. When I do a sharp left turn and then straighten back out, the steering wheel is off to the left while vehicle is driving st...
