those motors are steppers, prob 1.8 deg steps and very torque (powerful) I recommend installing the included kit or you'll be ripping your shaft from the struts!

anyone disagree?

so it was the IIAC hose that runs to the TB, this solution is addressed in my basic section question. Mechanical related, just as the trans codes stated, though not trans related. Thanks self for figuring it out!

Well guys and whomever may come across this issue in the future (after all, most useful searches come from questions anyway) Before I came to the conclusion it was the tranny, I have a new tranny that I'll be rebuilding for race. I wanted to know what else could cause the tranny and ECU poor communi...

KA-T AUTO Shift help

Since nobody in Advanced seems to help, maybe here will do. 95, Auto with Royal Purple, had issue with Knock sensor, fixed and now that code dosent pop up in computer anymore. Only the Trans codes pop up, at least the last time 114 came up. I know the gears shift a little funny. Cleaned the MAF also...

Replaced Knock Sensor, now only the Automatic Tranny 3rd gear is problem. I also cleaned the MAF. Car seems a little more responsive but I need to know why the Automatic is "sticking" or not engaging when necessary.

The light only comes on during deceleration.

Auto Tranny and Knock

One night I changed the oil to a thinner 5-20 thinking it's better for turbo. I also cleaned the battery terminals that night. Next day CEL comes on, codes are 34, 113,114,115 or a combo of 34 (knock sensor) and 2 of the gears on the AUTO trans. I noticed the diff fluid may be shot, and possibly cau...

****! no intercooler is a stupid way to blow your motor. at minimum you should be running a SR sidemount. you're pumping hot air in and compression wont increase as much as with intercooler. So you got your ass handed to you.

Passenger window gets no power

After applying 12v to motor, I have found it works. Driver side power window works but passenger wont work from either switch. I hear there's a box on driver side that controls power to windows? where is this located?

I used a 14MM nut with the same threads I found at local hardware store. Had it welded to the "Help" spark arrestor they sell at Pep Boys, had that welded to dwnpipe. My only recommendation is make sure it's low enough that o2 sensor dosent interfere with trans mount or anything.... what a...

from what I understand there's the basic harness, the later 95's were obd2, and had more sensors that may not be available for obd1 ecu. I wish I had the answer to this one but if it was me I'd buy it!

Thanks Kouki, The problem is not really tranny related, it has never blinked and seems to be related to air coming in/exhaust flowing out where the car is limited based on the backpressure of the stock exhaust. I have bought a "oem sr20 catback" that I'll fit on there and see if it solves ...

Im getting 2.5" Catback tomorrow, would a stock G35 muffler flow well enough? Subaru turbo I can imagine would be fine also. It really sounds like the back pressure is causing problems during overlap and its not getting rid of exhaust rapidly enough. Hence the limit of Rev's and again answering...

typically, when you turn on your headlights, this puts a load of an additional 40W or so to your battery which in change makes your alternator work harder to compensate. If your alternator is failing (bridge diodes) or deteriorating you will notice stumbling because the resources simply aren't there...

Thats right, its an auto KA-T I just finished up building. It pulls, but limited to Auto Trans. If I drop it into "2" I cannot for the life of me get anything past 4000 RPM's, Im thinking its because of the timing being retarded or maybe stock exhaust has too much backpressure for the litt...
