strip the car. get rid of the A/C and power steering systems. Reroute the throttle body coolant lines. Get rid of the clutch fan for a junkyard electrical. punch out your cat. make your own custom 3 inch exhaust.

Hey Greaser, I know this is a KA-T forum, but since you have built some pretty wild motors, (assuming both kat and SR) I wanted to know what your opinions are of the two motors, and which one you prefer? (not looking for a SR vs KA debate) just your opinion. Thanks.

I've been browsing around exhaust shops and have noticed pretty nice 3inch cats (flangless) for a decent price. I'm building my own exhaust, 3inches, just mandrel bent pipes (straight as possible, one piece), catback, and a straight through muffler. Actually pretty easy. Saved me 300 bucks too.

A lot of the guys on FA have actually done this mod with success. I'm too lazy to go mess with mine, but it will be done this way too.
