Hard Brake Lines - Type?

The hardline from the front junction box in the engine bay to the rear junction box (by the passenger rear wheel) is leaking and so I need to replace. I've never had to do brake work before and I'm wondering if there are different types of fittings and which flare I need to use? Are there different ...

I used the Z31 wastegate/elbow as it is. I then made a downpipe to join on to the elbow. If you don't want to use the stock wastegate, I've seen some company a few years ago that makes a bolt on application for the weird Z31 bolt pattern so you to use allow a regular downpipe. Can't remember what th...

Did you remove the intake manifold in order to remove the EGR? Is it possible to do it without removing the manifold? I have the same issue that I'm hoping to fix this winter.

I've had one of their catbacks for three years now with no problems. Fitment was perfect. Only thing is it was a bit loud for me, so I put a couple of silencers in it and all is well. Very pleased with it.

ok i found the leak it was coming from the lower egr gasket, just bought a block off plate from ebay and it's fixed!! Thanks for the update. That's where my leak sounds like it may be coming from, so I may give this a try. Is it much trouble to remove the EGR without removing the engine or intake? ...

Scratch that part about it not having issues when it's cold. Drove to work this morning and had issues from the get-go. Also, had a few in higher gears (3 +) when just cruising. Starting to drive me nuts.

Re: Having Difficulty Finding Boost Leak

 A YEAR! I cant have a problem for 2 seconds without tearing sheet apart to find it. LOL, not as bad as it sounds since I ride my bike most of the time this past year. Also, with two kids it's hard to get any time any more to look at problems like this. The only emissions that I've messed wi...

Having Difficulty Finding Boost Leak

My car has been stumbling under non-boost driving conditions for the past year. It will run fine when I get into boost, but just normal driving, especially starting off from a stop, it will stumble until I get it going. First and second gear under 3000 RPM's is a real pain. I tested for boost/vacuum...

I have a bottom mount as well and made my own lock tabs out of some sheet metal. Very rough looking tabs but they work. No, problems over the past two years. They function the same way the OEM ones to on the SR. Also, the same mechanism that is used on motorcycle brake rotors (as you don't want them...

I'm having a similar problem as yours. I have a redline ecu, running 370's, stock MAF and mine stumbles like yours. I don't have a wideband yet so I'm not sure of the AFR's. I changed my stock O2 sensor and the problem went away for a few weeks but then came back. I'm thinking I was running pretty r...

Coolant Amount?

I just changed my thermostat and flushed/filled my coolant, and noticed that I only had to put in <4 litres. Reading the FSM is says the capacity is ~6.7 litres. Why did I only have to put in less than four. I never opened the drain plug on the block so I'm assuming that it wasn't completely drained...

They showed how they manufacture them on 'How It's Made', pretty cool. Showed everything from using the mold, vacuum bagging, baking, clear coating and final assembly. Pretty awsome. Not sure how they sound compared to a traditional wood one. Probably be less affected by changes in humidity as well.

I didn't remove my EGR either, I just cut the pipe and closed it up. I used a copper plumbing cap you use for doing plumbing in your house. Put it on and sealed it up with JB Weld, no issues at all. I also cut and blocked the vacuum hose going to the EGR. For the pipe you could also find a large bol...
