You can buy a new insert from summit for around $60. Just replace it. It comes with the new screws and everything you need. You can also get it from here http://phase2motorsports.stores.yahoo.n ... ialfl.html I think $50 dollars is a good deal for a new one.

I have been back from Iraq for about 2 months and have started working on my car a little. The engine is fully built with Pauter rods and Supertech 8.5 to 1 forged pistons. I put about 10k miles on the engine before I left almost two years ago. When I was adjusting the timing yesterday, I asked myse...

Mine seem to work fine now, but when I first completed my swap with ebc redstuff pads, i would hear a clunking noise in the front every time i would depress the pedal. I checked and everything was torqued properly, however, it seemed as if the rotor would move a bit when the pads engaged. I am not u...

300zx brake ?

When you guys did your 300zx front brake swap did you use the brake pad shims? The 300zx fsm says they should be replaced everytime you replace the pads. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You are right Whitefastback I don't have abs so mine fits fine. I believe the new ones are made out 321 stainless steel. Steel will crack but I have a megan downpipe with the flex section that should help take stress of the manifold. For the price it's not bad. The runners n mine do look a little sl...

The Ka is a good engine. The weaklink apears to be the pistons. Nissan did incorporate oil squirters (love those) to help cool them but at with a bad tune things get ugly. Usually it would not be a problem to achieve your target power level with a stock engine and your mileage, however, there are ma...
