Re: New Tomei Manifold is finished.
I'm giving some serious consideration to going this route when i re-turbo. Since my Revhard cracked (took close to 7 years, not bad, right?), and my t3/4 needs a rebuild, (and some other random things need replacing), I I'm considering switching to bottom mount. It's a good looking product from a so...

Re: A sad day - advice welcomed!
Thanks for the feedback! Like you said, definitely emotionally and financially wearing on me. I appreciate all the thoughts! To give a bit more info - The PDM cams were there before it was turbo'd, and I love em - help it breathe all the way to the top. While I have a good bit of monitoring in place...

A sad day - advice welcomed!
Today is a sad day. I've been going through a small army of problems with my car, and as a result, I think I've decided to go back to N/A for the time being. I've come to describe the situation, and ask for everyone's advice on how they thing I can make my N/A S14 the most fun possible until I go ba...

Can I run an auto TPS in a manual s14?
Hey All, I am thinking of replacing my TPS on my 95 s14, and it seems to me, based on this thread: http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=57900&p=491986&hilit=auto+tps#p491986 that I can use the auto tps with no ill effects. I'm just hoping to verify this with anyone running tha...

S14-Z32 MAF wiring questions
Posted this to the sticky as well, but I thought it might help to create a separate topic to draw some attention to it. Been doing some wiring cleanup, and started on the MAF the other night.. For the grounds - do the N62 ECU ground and Chassis ground HAVE to be wired that way? Any negative impact f...

Re: Z32/N62 MAF Wiring Diagram
Have a question, as I recently started some MAF wiring cleanup -
For the grounds - do the N62 ECU ground and Chassis ground HAVE to be wired that way? Any negative impact from wiring the MAF chassis ground to the ECU ground, and the MAF ECU ground to the Chassis ground?

NorCal roll call?
Hey All, Just wanted to see who is in Northern California? I moved up here (Marin County) a few months ago, and while I've found some coworkers to go driving with, it's tough to get more than one or two people together, as they're all south of the city. Anyone in Marin or north want to hang? Robert

Re: JWT / SAFC question
You know, JWT will reflash that ecu for $100, for the bigger injectors and new MAF. Once they do the initial flash, they do as many reflashes as you want for the $100 fee. I did that when I upgraded things. I still use an SAFC for smaller adjustments, though. Runs fine for me. A little rich - which ...

Anyone in NorCal?
So I'm moving to NorCal next week (North Bay, Marin County) - anyone live in that area? I know some people do, but as my girlfriend pointed out, I like to have my "car friends."
So, car friends in NorCal, what's up?

I have some stock that I play with, just for fun. I mean, it's doing decently well currently, but it's not the extent of my savings. And of course, I have some Nissan stock (NSANY) - it's pretty close to a 6 month low today, or was this morning anyway. I grabbed a couple more shares with some divide...

Yeah, the clearances are pretty tight - gotta love it when things work out. I was a little worried, but so far so good. The only difference in terms of size (from the z33 wheels I had on there) is the half inch of width. The offset is a little different too. and with that: 17x8, +35. Sorry for the l...

Maybe I'll post something more scenic this weekend, or after a drive on the fourth. I'm just stoked to finally have them on there! http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c291/vrmilionzx/Car/IMAG0456.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c291/vrmilionzx/Car/IMAG0454.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c...

Help me choose what color wheels to get!
I'm getting some 17" Enkei RPF1's for my s14, and I'm wondering what color everyone else thinks I should get. Matte black, or Silver? If any of you photochop ninjas are feeling generous, and wouldn't mind putting some sexy RPF1's in silver and in black on the images below, I'd be most grateful....

Considering selling my s13 - thoughts?
Hey All, I'm giving some thought to selling my daily driver for something with better mileage, that I won't feel as inclined to mod. Maybe a sentra, or 200sx (wrong wheel drive makes it less appealing to modify...in theory). I'm hoping to get an idea of what everyone thinks it's worth, based on the ...

Could be a stupid question, but have you checked all the hoses to make sure that the turbo isn't hitting 7 or 14psi, and sending all that air right out a leaking/loose coupler? Maybe something's not tightened down enough to leak on vacuum, but a little boost and it's open. Possibly a bad clamp or so...
