I know this is a noob question, but I was looking Crower rods and I see they had two versions, brushed and pressed fit. I was wondering the difference between the two.

I was looking at this rebuild kit and it says it's for the DE. I searched around and generally people said the E and DE bottom ends are the same, except the DE bottom end has oil squirters. I thought the stock compression was 8:1 with the KA24E, but I guess I'm wrong. I'm planning on buying Wiseco pistions at 8:1 compression.

I've decided to rebuild a SOHC KA and turbo it. I have been looking at rebuild kit and I was wondering if anyone has an opinion about this rebuild kit from Import Performance Parts.
