Re: Turbo coolant lines

I just ran a standard 1/4npt into that hole with teflon tape and it has worked since 2011 but only about 2500 miles were put on the car in that time.

Now I want to redo it with a 1/4bspt.

Thanks for posting this! I'm glad to see forums still going.

Would you mind posting fuel table, base pressure, injectors?

I always thought it would be a good idea to shim the oil pump them run a thinner oil to get the pressure down. Run thin oil and have a lot of flow since the pump is shimmed.

The box is an ammo can. I drilled out the spot welds on the hinge and raised it a little bit to clear the terminals. Also moved the latch up so it still latches. There were seven of us from Jacksonville. Three boosted KA's and a former KA-T owner. Jeff Ricca's car was awesome and so was the S-Max KA-T.

I am currently getting ready to go e85 even though there is only one pump in orlando and none in Jacksonville where my car spends half its time. I am going to probably do a switchable map so I can run 93 if I get stranded. I will be running modded STI injectors to flow 815cc and then bump my base fu...

I am using STI injectors. They fit perfect, got subaru clips from a junkyard legacy or something. I think there might be two types of injectors that are "yellow tops" one flows 550cc and one flows 535cc.

I paid 110 shipped for mine.

Wow! Clean setup. That engine bay looks awesome. Did you shave the hood prop, relocate the fuse boxes, rebend the brake lines behind the motor, shave the dist and airbox brackets, cut out the battery tray and weld in another piece, relocate the fuel filter, and tuck the body harness?

Daughterboard

Does anybody know a good place to get a dual cam daughterboard with odd/even reburnable chips. I have one of Gabes old daughterboards but want another. They were 20 bucks or something in that range now I cannot find them anywhere.

Thanks.

Its kinda like 50 trim and 57 trim. If you arent gonna run a ton of boost the 50trim is more efficient. Even though the 57trim flows more up to at least 15psi the 50 trim is better.

I dont know much about huge turbo's but I am guessing it would be similar.
