I ended up finding quite a few of the specs. I wish I still had a garage and my old 240 torn apart. It would have made this project a whole lot easier.
Thanks guys,
Chris

Crankshaft and piston specs (3d model)
Hello all, I'm in an engineering class right now and am looking for a blueprint or something similar for a DE crankshaft and piston setup. I want to model the setup with Solidworks. I've done some basic googling and have yet to find any specifics relating to overall length, diameter of journals and ...

Sounds like you have an air pocket. Thats exactly what happened to me for quite some time until i was able to bleed out all the air. Also, your mixture should be more water than anti-freeze. Maybe opposite of the mixture that you have now. Try bleeding the system again and think about putting more w...

I'm looking on a few different sites for widebands, Any input on innovative motorsport ones? I guess wit the right equipment i can interface it with my data scan software. Innovative motorsport: 3796, 3795, 3844? I can also get an AEM 30-4100 Digital Wideband Air/Fuel UEGO Gauge - for the same price.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I really appreciate it! I'm 99% sure i have 700's, as I bought them from deatschwerks 7 years ago when i first started turning this car. I troubleshot the fuel system yesterday, which included taking the fuel rail off and watching the injectors spay. They didn't ...

Thats what I thought... Makes me think the tune needs to be re-examined. I wrote Martin from R.S Enthalpy another email explaining what I did with the fuel system. Hopefully he agrees and will take a look at my tune. I mean, I bought the ECU tune 7 years ago... Probably needs to be re-examined, right?

So i hooked up a gauge to check the fuel system and i'm not quite sure what to do with the results. When i first start up the car fuel pressure is about 40, when the car warms up it's about 37 or 38. When i drive the car it staidly rises and gets to about 52 by the time i let off (about 5k rpm and 1...

Help diagnose lean issue
Hey guys, I went to the dyno this weekend and had an issue with running lean. I don't think its the tune, as Enthalpy usualy runs on the conservative side; however, I would really appreciate some help figuring this issue out. I just changed my fuel filter to see if there were some problems there. An...

On the first run, which I don't have a chart for was WOT, but the tuner was so concerned with the AFR's he didn't want to go to redline or do another run. I was able to talk him into it so I could send the data to Enthalpy, and i'm pretty sure he didn't go WOT which is why I was't hitting full boost...

I've had my KA-t for like 6 years but only have around 3000 miles on it. I've been deploying left and right for the last 6 years and haven't had a lot of time to put miles on the car. I just did some I/C pipe upgrades and fixed a few boost leaks. Decided to take it to the dyno to see what it's actua...

Wastegate diaphragm supposed to be like this?
Hello, I've been having some strange boost problems recently. My car won't seem to boost over 5-6 lbs, despite having a 15lb spring. Ive done 50 leak checks and found a few problems, checked the IC pipe, all that stuff. While taking apart the waste gate I noticed that the diaphragm seems a little of...

It's possible, at this point anything is possible; however, I feel like that's unlikely. I hooked up an air compressor to my intake lines and didn't have any leaks, then did the same to the wastegate and found a small leak from the set screw area. I don't know, I feel like this would have to be a pr...

I took the wastegate off last night and disassembled it. I couldnt find anything out of the ordinary. It would seem as though it's either opening too early and not letting me build any more than 10 lbs or there's a leak somewhere else. I'll take it off today and send some pics, not sure what the hel...

Thats how I have it installed now and I've got no luck what so ever. I bought a new spring the other day, 15 lb installed it and was hitting 15. Then I installed a new MBC (the correct way that you have described) and all i can get is 9 lbs? Now, bypassing the MBC all together gets me 9? Totally con...

This is how i have it setup: From the turbo to the MBC - MBC to the side port of the waste gate. I've also tried T-ing the line from the turbo to the MBC and also to the side port, then from the MBC to the top port of the waste gate... Still no luck, what are the changes my waste gate is bad? http:/...

Hate to bring it back to life but... Still having trouble with my MBC / Wastegate... I bought a new MBC, the one listed above on ebay and a new spring, 15LBS from JGS installed each and I'm still not able to change the boost above the spring rating. With no MBC installed I can hit 15lbs, with the MB...

No it's an extremely simple MBC. It seems like it was made out of some fittings from home depot. I bought it from a reputable company online, not sure why the heck it just all of a sudden stopped working? I mean, it's such a simple mechanism... But no, I wasn't sure if they should have been an o-rin...

Honestly, I know this sounds stupid but I dont remember the brand (was over a year ago before my deployment). I remember paying quite a bit for it, as I decided not to go cheap on an MBC. I'm going to crank it down quite a bit and see what happens, It's almost all the way down now but maybe that mag...

Hey guys, Wow, it seems as though it's been forever since i've made any type of contribution to the site. The years have just gone by... Anyways, nice to be back, unfortunately I'm in need of some information. I just got my car running again (just back from a deployment) and before I left I had inst...

s13 dizzy to s14 motor
I plan on putting a s13 dizzy in my s14 engine, i know jwt has a diagram on how to do this for an sr20 but where can i get an actual how to for a ka? I'm talking as far as having to open up the dizzy and cut wires, or just getting an s13's dizzy connector off the harness and rewiring that to the s14...
